Morning :) Elliot slept loads better last night, so pleased he's perked up a bit. My throat is feeling bad again, i don't think it's totally cleared up (or elliot's passed it back again) so may need to see the doctor again. I'll be keeping an eye on things today, got my last two tablets to take.

On the subject of choccy, i love the stuff :) but can't afford to spend £50 on thorntons site!!

Good news-we could well be selling up and moving next year :) we've seen the financial adviser and things aren't as bad as we first thought. But waiting till feb/march would mean being fresh on the market and hopefully getting some interest. So keeping fingers crossed, i can't wait to get a house.

    keely.

I'm a pastry girl myself - don't tell the others but I think that their rocky road stuff sounds horrible :o
I've never liked the sound of Rocky Road either but that's just because I'm not that into sweet things (which is why telling me to "change" to a "low sugar" diet for impaired glucose tolerance was a joke). I once told someone I prefer salmon pate to chocolate and she thought that was really weird.

Nah Sami, pastry like pecan maple slices...

Ooh I love them too. Sometimes they just jump off the shelf in Tesco into my trolley and there's nothing I can do about it :A

I'm tempted by the chocolate offer but would keep the hamper for hubby and me :o:D

Back to work today after a week and a bit off. I'm going to miss Charlotte so much even though I'll get her back around 1pm.
Here I go again on my own....

chocolate - I have been known to like the odd bar of dairy milk, but I'm a savoury girl. Give me cheese, pastry and crisps anyday. I hate thorntons chocolate so managed to let that offer slip past ;)

A big well done to all those working mummies on the thread. You are all doing really well and I wanted to say I am really proud of you all. x

Beccles - I miss charlotte too when you aren't on here :rotfl: her antics keep me laughing - she's so cute. (is it wrong to hope my LG is that cute when she gets bigger?!)

LO slept from 7pm to 11.30pm then 1.45am to 7.30am :D I'm very pleased with her. She's like a different child today - thankfully! I actually managed to get out of the house yesterday evening for a 'busness' meeting and we are a few steps closer - yipeee!

Todays task - I need to find a couple of stairgates. I want ones that don't attach to the wall with fixings. I'm sure someone on here had mentioned them before.........

    Morning all,

Took LO to see HV yesterday about her not being herself. She only bloomin perked up when we got there!!

HV is pretty sure she's teething (although she said that at the end of Sept too). After our talk on Monday about reducing my washing pile, there's no chance of that happening, as this teething malarky (if that's what it is) has resulted in a poo immediately after every feed, most of which have been very runny and leaky. Got through three vests and two pairs of jeans yesterday!

We also had a very green very runny projectile poo about 30 seconds after I'd taken her nappy off ready for her bath last night. I was a nice mummy though and let DH do the bathing bit whilst I did the mopping-up-poo jobby which had gone on the changing mat, down the (cream) wall and on the (beige) carpet!

I won't be on much for the next few days as I only have today and tomorrow to finish DH's birthday stuff, as he's off work on Friday, doesn't work weekends and it's his birthday on Monday.

Hugs to everyone that needs them.

Sami - I'll look out for the update you're doing for Elle so I don't miss out on anything.

Krystal - did that Vistaprint linky work for you?

    Hello girls!

Sorry I've been away so long, am very busy with two of them and, TBH, just can't stand the posting pace on here - I can't keep up!

Will try to pop in and out occasionally. Congrats and hugs to all those who need them.

Alex is now 18 weeks and is finally sleeping through most nights. He has his last feed around 10/10.30 and normally wakes about 7am, so I can cope with that. Unfortunately Imogen has been up in the night for quite a while with various bogus complaints. Last night was 4am to tell me her covers were wrong.

I'm also busy cos I'm chairing a 'friends' group which is helping the council put in a brand new playground in our village. There are hundreds of children at 3 schools in the village, but not one playground (just about 6 swings over 3 locations). I got involved cos it's something I always said I'm campaign about and then i saw a poster advertising a public meeting. Next thing, we'd formed a group and I'd been elected chair (even though I didn't put myself forward!). We're meeting tonight and having an event tomorrow for the kids to tell us what they'd like in the playground. It will be built by March, so time's a bit tight!

Plus I'm back to doing some freelance work and trying to do activities with the kids in the daytime. I'm on here this am cos DH's on holiday.

Hope you're all well? Will try to read back a few pages to catch up.
