Hi all,

I skived off work today as little one had me up every hour last night. She never cries, I just hear shuffling then see a little head pops up over the cot side grinning at me with wide eyes. If I leave her then she starts babbling and wakes up properly so I have to get her or she wont go back to sleep. She eventually exhausted herself at about 6am but since I had to get up at 6:30am to get ready for work I just couldnt face it. I better try not to make a habit of it though!!

Been catching up and see that there are few hugs to go round. ((((huggles))) to those in need.

Better get to bed really in case madam decides to re-enact last night.

Rhys won't settle tonight OH is lying on the bed with him, ready to put the dummy back in every two minutes :rolleyes:

I've been a right water baby today.. shower this morning (my hair's falling out big time! ), swimming this afternoon, hot tub tonight, followed by a bath cos Rhys' crying interupted the hot tub and I get cold while I was sorting him out so the bath was to warm me up again! Rhys looked completely bemused by the idea of swimming.. no smiling, no crying, just sheer confusion Going again tomorrow so we'll see if he's more into it then. He's also gone from eight feeds in a day to six which seems really odd; he's waking without screaming with hunger for a change. Keep finding ourselves just sitting thinking he'll wake up anytime and they he goes another two hours than he should without wanting any milk Rhys' law strikes again! :cool: He sat up in his pram, mesmorised by the real fire in the pub tonight, hardly blinking!

OH not very happy at all about getting "old" (I say "older", he just says "old"). Says he's going to rejoin the gym and go to classes to get fit - he already is fit! - and to lose weight :cool:

We're off out tomorrow, going to Matlock then Bakewell (gotta get puddings!) then to Castleton to see the Christmas lights. A bit of a tour round the edge of the Peak District as we did the middle of it earlier in the year. OH has said he wants to come here (Peak District) for a week each year. Only thing is, he's really into walking (boots on and stomp up the hills until it gets dark and beyond) and I'm sooooo not! I hope he's not hoping I'll change my mind in years to come cos I really won't!

Sounds like you're mostly having a nice time anyway Elle keep updating us!

Thanks for the chocolate links, weighing up orders now, not sure. Personally I am more of a pastry preferrer, or creamy things (mousses, yogurts etc), not chocolate. OH is keen on chocolate though.

Another 5am start for us here. OH now certain that what we're seeing is his reflux causing real problems, he has a lot of the internet symptoms of GERD or similar (coughing a lot in his sleep but not when awake, waking up in pain, bile-smelling burps, etc). Will be calling for GP appointment this morning, to get a paediatrician referral. After talking about all that last night there was no way I could leave him crying this morning when he woke, so up I am.

Previous night he woke at 12, 2, 4 and 6, but settled himself after a few minutes each of the first three times. My concern is that we need not to use that as our 'main symptom' or a GP will dismiss it as him being still young and not all toddlers sleep well! Really hate seeing him uncomfortable, he is such a cheerful little fellow the rest of the time...

Are you jetting off for 3 weeks today Angel?? Very exciting! Have a lovely time with family but don't forget us we shall be waiting for an update

I'm sat waiting for DH to come back from walking the dog and then he's dropping me off at my mums and he's off to work. It's pouring down here hopefully it'll stop by the time we get to the markets as I really don't want to get wet through looking at them.

im not liking these early mornings jayden has me doing its was 5am this morning and apparently thats play time for him :rolleyes: ..

weather is poo so i aint doing bu99er all apart from some washing maybe might have a nap later as im still tired ... hope everyones ok x
