Aww Caz
it's only shift-work, you don't get any paid time off when sick? Ugh, how stressful... but I think you should take the day off if you're feeling really bad, making yourself worse and more stressed and miserable can't really help in the long run
poor you.

Aww, Caz, hope you feel better soon. It might be the Norovirus? Dr Chris on This Morning was talking about how it is rife at the moment and it definately looks as though we all had that last week

My little girl has just WALKED all by herself for the first time - two steps but progressI'm a very very very proud mummy.
She's also a bit obsessed with the word daddy - but I am refusing to believe that it's her first word and that she knows what it means/who it referes to
Yay for walking baby!!! Go Annabel!! xxJakesmummy wrote: »Afternoon everyone,
hope everyones ok?
jasmine got her first tooth today!! she was rosy cheeked all yesterday at the christening and only had a 5minute whinge so it doesnt seem to have bothered her much!
Yay for teeth. Forgot to say yesterday I am glad that the christening went well - they both look gorgeous xxchopsticks wrote: »Girls...just out of curiosity, how often do you change LO's clothes?
Caitlin has a clean vest every day and every night, plus a clean sleepsuit every night. I change her sleeping bag every two days, her cot sheet twice a week, and she has a clean outfit on every day too. Obviously if there is dribble, poo, wee or sick on any of them, they are changed more frequently. I was talking to some mummy friends earlier and their LOs have the same vest on night and day, and a clean sleepsuit every 2-3 days and a clean sleeping bag whenever one looks grubby.
Am I making too much washing for myself?
Also, and this is a stupid question...you know the frilly bits on nappies, do you have them out or in?
Frilly bits out on nappies - otherwise accidents happen
Benjamin has a clean vest and outfit each morning and a clean vest and sleepsuit every evening. I change his sleeping bag every couple of days (he has 3) and his bedsheets every week - or sooner if needed.
Occasionally if Benjamin is tired and grumpy then I might not change his vest when I get him ready for bed but only if it is clean and dry.
Benjamin is really snotty at the moment, I think it is just his teeth but it is pretty mingingplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
