Glad your meet up went well! Any gossip?

Went to Mothercare and bought waterproof backed bibs. It’s Mothercare ones I had before and they melted in the tumble dryer and went all sticky and crumpled up.

Jillie – I did have a look in other places but hadn’t seen them anywhere else. Probably looked in M&S, Boots, Next and Tesco. Will bear Asda in mind next time.

Choppy – For clothing I probably do similar to you but change the bedding less though – maybe sheets/sleeping bag once a week, unless they have been dribbled or possetted on or something. I probably change the vests a couple of times a day sometimes as Holly doesn’t seem to be able to take a bottle without half of it ending up down her (hence the purchase of waterproof backed bibs). She only has about 4 nice going out outfits at the moment so if we are staying in, she might just keep her sleepsuit on.
And frilly bits on the nappy are out – I never even considered that they should possibly be tucked in.

Bruno – That’s terrible news. Lucky that you have money to cover it, but it won’t be what you expected to use it for!

NMS – glad you and Liam enjoyed swimming. I can’t wait to take Holly (but worried about slipping on the tiles!)

Well done for Charlotte doing well at her assessment and Annabel for walking! :j

You are all making me feel so old!! I am 33 years old. My friend who is the same age got ID’d in John Lewis buying wine at the weekend! Only posh underagers would buy wine in John Lewis!

God it’s taken me hours to catch up on this in between doing stuff – sorry if it’s all a bit out of date!

ebay worries me - OH sold something for £20 and on arrival the guy said it was broken (we hadn't realised) so he sent it back. We relisted it stating it was broken but it is now on £16 with 2hrs left!

Fitzio - no gossip really. Feelie has an awesome Stokke and Tobes was wearing a very funky tie-dye suit. Sami's Edgar has the cutest smile and still has funky hair although a bit tamer than before, oh and she has to carry around a special loo seat for Christopher
3 is dreading going back to work Monday, Vi is gorgeous, as is Lexi. OH told me to make sure Jack was looking smart for the ladies!
Celia is walking and has now learned to look up to check it's mummy before grabbing hold of people's legs :rotfl:

    Don't think I've forgotten anyone!
I hear the boy so off to feed, bath and bed - bag is ready for tomorrow so hopefuly I'll be ready when we get picked up at 11am for a days shopping!

    Catch up later (hopefully)
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

3 - if you're still here, did you find a petrol station? I'm so pants with knowing where things are :o

Glam - is your PO the one inside a spar?

Thanks Glam, I felt quite good today. I think getting out is good, thanks for organising me ladies. I'm hopefully seeing MFD Tomorrow, then a friend on Wednesday. Need to organise things for Thursday and Friday.

I'm exhausted and my feet and pelvis are killing me but I'm glad I went today. Might just have a kebab tonight!

Been thinking about things and when I get home I'm going to ask to go back on the medication I was on pre-pregnancy. They make me sleepy but help keep me stable, and I think I can cope with the drowsiness now Toby is sleeping well.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

I did, at the top of my road! :o I drove home on my diesel fumes. :p

Glam forgot the real gossip - Sami's Christopher has developed a couple of worrying habits. Flashing and shoplifting! :rotfl:

    ETA: he he! cross posted.

The best part of my new tax experience is, they've kept me on the same code this year... the letter was only referencing the 08/09 tax year, so I'll have had the same shortfall every month this tax year too, that's another grand I'll owe! Gaaaah!

Glad the slingmeet went well :) were there a lot of slings? Flashing and shoplifting is something you should do as much as possible of when you're Christopher's age, it's a very small window before either become socially unacceptable :p
  • Yay for the fab meet!

Glam, I might be tempted to join you at the TC but not with Poppy as she will be at nursery :).
