chopsticks wrote: »Girls...just out of curiosity, how often do you change LO's clothes?
Caitlin has a clean vest every day and every night, plus a clean sleepsuit every night. I change her sleeping bag every two days, her cot sheet twice a week, and she has a clean outfit on every day too. Obviously if there is dribble, poo, wee or sick on any of them, they are changed more frequently. I was talking to some mummy friends earlier and their LOs have the same vest on night and day, and a clean sleepsuit every 2-3 days and a clean sleeping bag whenever one looks grubby.
Am I making too much washing for myself?
Also, and this is a stupid question...you know the frilly bits on nappies, do you have them out or in?
All clean in the morning (vest, outfit) then a clean sleep suit at night with the same vest. If she gets changed (which is a lot because she manages to get poo everywhere EVERYTIME she poos) then the new outfit may be used again the next day if it's still clean.
Bedding is whenever it's dirty.
However, I think I will start using the sleepsuits more than once, same with PJ's for the boys.searching_me wrote: »hello ... ((hugs)) to anyone in need .. andto everyone else (sorry i did read back but fed jayden and completely forgot

just had my gay OH telling me his ex boyfriend gave him syphlys and lvg virus ... what lvg virus??? ..
oooooooooooo before i forget tia how did you get the vouchers? is it like a park or farepak thing? x
LGV Virus He should be fine after antibiotics hun.
I get the vouchers from Park. Kinda hit and miss really, argos, boots, BHS, mothercare, ELC, superdrug, matalan, iceland, HMV take them but game don't. I do like that it's all paid for throughout the year though. And Park is backed so you will get your money back, unlike fairpark. However, I dont know much about that so you'd have to look inti it yourself.0 -
Frilly bits out!
HRMC just wrote me that I owe £1800 in last year's income tax... this is not very good news...
Wouldn't it be loads of faff to be posting all those bits in?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Argh... Aimee's not doing what she's told and hubby just came in and 'surveyed' the mess of the living room... Didn't say anything, just looked and then went to the kitchen... I'm off... Arrrgh I'm so tired, bleeeeeeeeeeeeeh
Ouch bruno, I've always hated HMRC, they made me pay back £2600, so sympathies!! If it makes you feel ANY better, OH's dad is supposed to fill in his own tax return thingys, and he always forgets, and has had fines of thousands. I'm talking 10k!!
His mum has offered to buy OH a new sofa for Xmas....and what do I want she asks? Bit generous, but if you insist I'll have a chest freezer and make that a black leather sofa
Jut made a chicken madras, added some chopped up spuds to bulk it out too.
OH isn't even home, or left work yet, supposed to finish at 3:45. Work is SUPER busy, which is great news! Plus he's already made £100 of overtime this month alreadyI think it works 2months behind though, so won't get it until January pay, oh wait no, will get it in the Dec pay, as still Nov pay to come. Spiffy! They are also on target for the next production bonus which hasn't been seen in over a year because of erm hardly any production. HELLO £700! would come right in time for Keira's birthday ,so will probs use it to take her away somewhere fun for the weekend
Gave the cats raw chicken thighs for dinner, the kitten loves it, the fat cat had a wee munch then came crying for Felix, what a loser cat! Just saw her in my cabinets above the sink, sleeping in with my glasses...just why?
Keira was a great little helper today, she helped me do the dishes, was great! She did end up smashing my irn bru glass, right at the end though, boooo. But bless her
Oh yeah and that woman didn't even show up yesterday for the shower, and she phoned me today apologising and she said she'd be here tonight "probably about 6 - 6:30" We'll bloody see, she has 5minutes, I'm sick of waiting around0 -

Are you self employed or is it an employer balls up?
Oh and Choppy, you might aswell save your washing machine now because once weaning happens it will be put onto overtime!
Thanks all. I'm employed, their balls up; I'm sure it's still going to be me that pays it though...I could've spotted the wrong tax code on the payslips if I'd looked it up and thought about it etc.
From the documentation it reads like it will be automatically taken from salary over the rest of the tax year through tax code change... so another £300 or so deducted every month til April  I will find out if I have any flexibility in that tomorrow.
It looks like it's probably not a mistake, so, gah. Will shout at payroll but it won't help me. I do have the money, but goodbye savings!0 -
Krystal, I found it, however it says 0 - 6 months on it, so I set it on top of Dylans 6 - 12 month one and its longer !!! So will def fit, send me a wee PM and the fairies will be on their way
I also have a fleece sleepsuit in 12 - 18 months if your interested ???The two best things I have done with my life

But if it's payrolls fault then your work should be sorting/paying it, not you! Not your fault. See this is why I hate HMRC, you give them all the stuff they require and if they balls it up, well guess what it's still your fault. MAYBE PEOPLE DONT WANT TO HAVE TO GOOGLE EVERY SINGLE BLOODY THING THEY RECIEVE. FNNNNARRRRR
Im really angry for you Bruno, If I had numchucks, I'd totally hit them all for you0
