Chop, the children are bathed every night with a clean vest and sleepsuit/PJ's and I put a clean vest on them when dressing of a morning. Clothes are only worn once before putting in the wash and they have one outfit a day but obviously more if, as you say, any accidents have occurred. Cot sheets are changed once a week as are sleeping bags. I have a washing basket for the children and wash their clothes separately from ours when it gets full (whites and colours together using Colour Catcher!).
I always have the frilly bits out of the nappy. Not sure if thats the right or not! lol.

Hi everyone,
choppy when in January ???? I'm 28 on the 18th
Krystal, I will have a look in the girl box I have upstairs, I think I may have a sleeping bag for 6 - 12 months if you want it ?
Well me and Chris went into town today to get him a couple of application forms and it pee'd it down and were like drowned rats running back to the car !!!! Severs weather warnings out for us tonight, so dont think I will be moving from the sofa again !!!
No weezl today ?? Wonder how her meeting went !The two best things I have done with my life

STOPTOBER CHALLANGE ... here we go !!0 -
I bath her every day too
, but to be fair it is part of her bedtime routine and she does enjoy it.
OK, from tonight it'll be a clean vest tonight and then she can wear it tomorrow day too. Probably best to do it that way round as she has a bath at night so it means not putting a vest back on that I've just taken off. Means getting her dressed in the morning will be quicker too0 -
Oh nappy frilly bits, I always have them in as they are what is there to catch the poo !!! However my MIL always puts them out and it really bugs me !!The two best things I have done with my life

Choppy I'm like you too, 28 in March oh and I'm blonde too ( even more so now I've coloured my hair) so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it
We have the leg bits on the nappy pulled out, dunno if that's right or not?
As for clothes if we are going out he has a clean outfit on daily. If not then like today I've left him in the clothes he had on for bed. He gets a clean sleepsuit each night, but I normally don't change his vest unless it's dirty. A sleeping bag lasts for a while here.Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
Frilly bits out!
HRMC just wrote me that I owe £1800 in last year's income tax... this is not very good news...0 -

Caitlin has a clean vest every day and every night, plus a clean sleepsuit every night. I change her sleeping bag every two days, her cot sheet twice a week, and she has a clean outfit on every day too. Obviously if there is dribble, poo, wee or sick on any of them, they are changed more frequently. I was talking to some mummy friends earlier and their LOs have the same vest on night and day, and a clean sleepsuit every 2-3 days and a clean sleeping bag whenever one looks grubby.
Am I making too much washing for myself?
Also, and this is a stupid question...you know the frilly bits on nappies, do you have them out or in?
yes. wayy too muh for yourself. altho it really does depend....my rules are different for katie to christopher, simply because of their ages;
Katie: one vest put on clean after bath at night, wore throughout the next day until bath the next day. Clean PJ's put on after bath also as she usually has cereal for breakfast which ends up ALLLL over her pjs! Clean clothes everyday cos she attratcs dirt!! lol
Christopher: Clean vest and sleepsuit atfer night time bath. Clean vest and clothes on next morning. repeat. unless of course we have a code brown/sickage etc!
I think in other words im saying, if its not dirty, dont wash it!!?chopsticks wrote: »I think I'm towards the older end of mummies on here (I'll be 28 in Jan) but I feel like I know nothing compared to Sami, Carla, Caz, Searching, Buttons (and I'm sure there are more) who are younger than me and know sooooo much more than me. I wouldnt say I know a lot.!? (My Oh is convinced that I am blonde deepdown!? lol)chopsticks wrote: »Hmm, I did wonder if I was going a bit OTT. I think my washing machine may be allowed a little holiday soon
I don't think I've described them very well...when the nappy is done up, the bits that go round the legs.
im still not sure what you mean choppy???Carla-Farla!!

mm, that would be brilliant if you do
Choppy, the only reason Caitlyn wears hers day and night is because we have a bath together in the morning most days... Once Aimee's packed off out of the door to school... I like to think she's nice and warm in it and it's not worth stripping her off to change something that's not really dirty... It's not like she sweats or anything... Aimee wears the same vest 24hrs too... Although sometimes 48... I discover her clean vest still nicely folded on the sofa if she forgets to change it lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
