don't know what would be the quietest shopping day

Tuesday, possibly? If people are going to take a day off work for shopping, it'll probably be either a Monday or Friday to tag it on to a weekend...

Good point Tigs.. TC two weeks before Christmas.. You'll all have to form a line with your prams and buggies and charge through, sweeping poor harrassed shoppers out the way as you go :D (pics please!)

Are you watching the same thing as me on telly? Domino Day on Five? (world championship domino toppling) That's what it would be like, push the buggies and watch the shoppers topple! :rotfl:

Tuesday is still free at the moment, Wednesday is a clinic appointment. (By'eck, this kid has a full diary! :rotfl: ) Then it's just a matter of feeling brave enough ... I might come solo, leave Andrew with Marley for the day, could combine it with a shopping trip for his presents! I know you all want to see Andrew, I just have to think what's best for him still as he's so tiny and relatively fragile.

  • Hmm - Mooki, I don't think you are being petty at all. As a matter of interest I don't think I would let anyone massage Benjamin other than me (or hubby if he wanted to)

Jillie - I hate Christmas work do's! IMO I spend enough time with them every day I don't want to spend an evening with them all as well - plus we have to pay! Althou I never minded going to OH's old work do's - who would pass up a night away at a swanky hotel in the Lakes or a night at a hotel on Park Lane?!!!!

Our Christmas do is in New Year and we all go away for a night, partners included and have a dinner dance with free drinks all night. It's fab but I guess it won't be the same if I am a consultant in January.... :(

sounds like we should pick a day! any days that people CAN'T do?

I can do Tuesday 24th! Although TC is a long way for me...don't forget I am over an hour from Warrington. Maybe if I combined it with a stay with my friend in Knutsford???
