Sadness is building up, can't believe I'm this lonely already!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Thanks Elle. I have the lappy on the dining room table, so I'll check back in a few mins.0

Oh feelie, this is just a flying visit but couldn't read and run.
Try and be the strongest you can. I know you're not at home but is there anyone round there you still know (or even friends/neighbours of your mum) that can pop round for a while? You don't need to say "I'm lonely", just say "I'm in by myself this evening and wondered if you fancied coming round to see Toby".
Alternatively, stick around on here all night and everyone will keep you company.
Lots of hugs honey.0 -
choppy, used 200g last time I made it but that was purposely small0

I could only bring one pair of trousers with me, and they are drying at the moment, so can't really see anyone
Seeing a friend tomorrow though, means a 2.5 miles walk, but will be nice. It is just the dark evening in a quiet house, and feeling so alone and like I don't know what to do.

Sweetie, it can be really tough being home alone - we ALL feel it so don't worry that this is something big. It is just natural to feel lonely when you have spent a full day just you and baby.
Choppys suggestion is a good one. Are there any of your mums friends nearby (or relatives) who would love a half hour hold of a cute babba?
The other thing is that you may be lonely but you would still be struggling if you were at home, perhaps even worse?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
How long until you finish work for maternity leave, Maz?
Last day is meant to be Dec 4th but going to see consultant on 24th to see whether I can go naturale this time rather than CS which will be good, fingers crossed and then off til May 4th next year at the moment.Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Thanks Elle. I have 3 x 100g (plus two bags of choc drops) but...I should have thought of this before....I've just made broccoli and cheddar soup in my largest saucepan so will have to use my next largest, so 200g of choc may have to do0

Can you see the funny side of that
Why not do something constructive. Start a little project? Does Toby have a baby book? Maybe you could start one? Or pick your top 10 fave Toby pics (or 12 for a calendar?)
Browse for houses online? I love doing that!!
