Well, not sure if OH is speaking to me or if he's just doing that "opening his mouth before he's remembered he's not speaking to me" thing
I'm trying at least (though don't think I'm the one who should be, tbh ). Have made him several cups of tea and done the kitchen myself.. Hmmm, now do I remind him to pay for his car tax, or leave it up to him?0 -
2nded:o
Mooki - if you don't like the re-dressing say so. apart from anything else its giving you more washing to do and the hair brushing - she's not a doll, I find it weird.
Does she not look after many others? My CM was too busy to faff about needlessly redressing Chris
What she actually said was 'she's like my little xxxx (insert her son's name)' and the she gave her a kiss.
Leila is her only one. She had a couple of others before but I think when she had the opportunity to care for a baby she decided just to have Leila. She cant have anymore children due to a medical condition so I think Leila is her only chance to care for a baby girl and I suppose she's just making the most of it.
I did say something to her about the dressing thing but sort of jokingly said 'i think you just like dressing her' and then I said to Leila ' more washing for mummy then'! She didnt change her for the 2 days after that. I asked why she changed her the other day and she said it was because Leila had dribbled alot. I suppose some mums do change their babys if they have a bit of dribble but of course I dont as long as its not soaked through, so perhaps its just something she would normally do.
I might be wrong about the hair, but being the bad mummy that I am I dont brush Leila's hair much and let it stick up. But when I collect her, her hair is always flat and smooth!
She also does a lot of massages for Leila and details what massage she did in Leila's Daily Diary (we call it the homework diary!). She massaged her eyes the other day - now thats a bit weird!!!:p
Still, its only been a couple of weeks and i'm sure my little niggles will get resolved in time xxProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Hi Feelie  I agree with everyone else you sound a lot happier these past few days

Oh pants.. I didn't get my !!!!! into gear quick enough to send the micro ones from T for you
Will pass them on to our comms nurses for the unit here
Not a problem, another Fairy was generous - I may even have to donate my spares to the unit too!Which teats are you using? We carried on with the NUK ones that they use in hospital and Rhys hasn't had any confusion issues either(same with T&B too)
The rest of the time, I'm using the freebie Breastflow bottles, and Andrew has taken to them a treat.
Elle - empty your PM box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I have 9
4 made up at a time. So 4 in fridge, 4 being clean sterilised and a emergency bottle just in case. Although Liam only has 4 feeds a day now. (I got 3 from the lovely faries
)
I'll pop in into the post, or should I hold off and give it to you in person if the TC meet goes ahead
Tara - it's been up a few weeks but I've not been posting much!0 -
Hmmmm, perhaps three isn't enough! But I'm only decanting defrosted frozen EBM into them, it's not like I'm making up formula or anything. I'll take the spare (I've pm'd) as it could be useful, might save me running the steriliser so often.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
