Grrrr @ stupid HR Depts, 3 and MFD (and weezl)! :(

I've just txt my senior colleague (not my boss but the one who deals with all mat leave and flexible working type things) to ask if she wants a formal application on Thursday or just a chat (cos I'd need to get OH to print it at work for me the day before) and she laughed at me - said we'll do it all by chitchat and what am I worried about :o But what about my pretty rotas? :(

I would print your pretty rotas anyway because you are proposing something a little unusual ;)

MFD, hope he gets worms! Nasty little git ha!

And phones4u man with smelly (super smelly, smelliest ever) breath can also get worms. Do I look poor or something? I went in to look at phones (obviously) and got jumped on as soon as I walked in.

LOL!!! I can think of worse punishments than worms though!!

Old stinky breath can shove it!!

I have to say that I have had nothing but fab customer service from 3.

3 - (not the phone company!) loving your email too!

The rambling half-asred investigation I started into my pension and life assurance etc thanks to you lot last week, has now made me realise - and get confirmation from the tax office - that I am owed higher-rate tax relief on my pension contributions for at the very least this tax year, and possibly last tax year as well!
As only basic rate tax relief was being included in the monthly payments into the pension plan. On the downside I have less money in the pension than I thought, but on the upside I am owed hundreds of pounds :) yay!

Elijah hasn't yet tried to get out of car seat, he is very adept at slipping downwards through and out of the high chair though, quite concerning what with the 3' drop etc. Must be so scary on the road though!! I don't think my car even has child locks

Gogo people sorting out their works - looks good Elle, well done on beating them up MFD, and hoping there's no problems for you, 3! :)

Mrs.Moc, how can you buy a car with tesco points? I looked but couldn't work it out :D
And, since you are the expert here, do you get clubcard points when you top up with tesco mobile? (they have one of teh phones I like)

Oh oh oh... dilemma. DS2 has been offered the swine flu vacine... should I get him jabbed?
  • Bruno I think most cars have them - if you open your rear door under the locking mechanism ( which you can only see when the door is open) there should be a small lever which can be moved to activate the lock. Although my parents have a new astra and the lock is a plastic red circle which I had to turn with the ignition key. I hope this helps - reading back i've not expalined things very well:rolleyes:

I think I should order 10, and sell them for £5 each on ebay! :money: There doesn't seem to be anything similar anywhere else (mothercare, kiddicare - the usual) - and its so simple!
I only knew about that one because DS's school told me about it - they have a lot of escaping children!

I'm sure my fairies have a spare somewhere - but the fairies house is in a bit of a mess at the moment - and they can't find anything! :o If the fairies ever do find it - i'll post on here and the owner of the next inquisitive toddler can claim it!
