3 - you must have jinxed me! I just had a snotty email from my pretend line manager (I say pretend because I don't work for him, he just signs my holiday forms) asking if I would be kind enough to tell them when I am going to grace them with my presence
I have told him in person on 17th Sep, confirmed by email on 29 Sep, spoke to him again on 15 Oct and then confirmed by email on 16 Oct. Although admittedly I only put in my AL application last week to take this week off (I was supposed to go in for 2 days)
It is not like they have someone taking my place that they need to give notice!!
In true MFD style I have sent him a snotty email back (cc the HR manager - like he did ) saying that I am taken aback by his tone and that I would have thought that discussing it twice and emailing him twice would be enough.
He also seems to be challenging the 6 KIT days I am claiming too - I have actually been into work on 8 occasions (but not all full days) and have answered countless phonecalls (remember 3.20am!!!) and emails. The fact that he emailed me on my work email account should say that I have been at their bl00dy beck and call for the whole of my ML
Fingers crossed I don't have to work with him for much longer!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Grrrr @ stupid HR Depts, 3 and MFD (and weezl)!
I've just txt my senior colleague (not my boss but the one who deals with all mat leave and flexible working type things) to ask if she wants a formal application on Thursday or just a chat (cos I'd need to get OH to print it at work for me the day before) and she laughed at me - said we'll do it all by chitchat and what am I worried aboutBut what about my pretty rotas?
