Searching - at least it was a real spider she woke you up for! I wake OH once a week at least to get rid of imaginary spiders that are crawlling up the walls! It is more than nightmares, every time it convinces me it is real, even once I'm awake. He refuses to get up now, I'm going to be so cross when it is a real spider! Hope you get a lie in tomorrow Enjoy your shopping!

Wi3adora - what colour are you going? This is the shortest I've had my hair since I was about 13, so my Dad asked me if I was going to dye it bright red like I had it then

Tigs - sorry I missed about you and OH, hope all is okay? Mine usually stays quiet until he has had a big lie in. Takes all my strength not to stand at the door shouting!

Weezl - do you get chance for a quiet sit down during the day? Your post made me giggle, it did paint a nice picture of the baby, all hairy eyebrow'd and gooey.

Glam - I watched the first two episodes of Flashforward. I liked them, but OH wasn't too keen. Is it worth persevering with? I'm nervous about Monday!

It seems very quiet on the thread and there are lots of people I'm missing. I hope Mooki is okay. I feel I've not chatted to Emlou, MM, Tara, Tia, Caz, BM, Maz, Fitzio, and 3 lately, although I'm sure I've missed important goings on. How is pregnancy Mel? Is Bailey around at the moment? Sugar - how are things with OH, are you still dashing round like mad? Hope all is okay. AM - where are you hiding? Hope carbooting in the stormy weather is okay Mrs Moc! I'm missing Septemberbaby as always! Was Tsstss talking about potty training? I'm no help with that I'm afraid! How are Claire and Millie's Mum? Anyone seen Skinty - is she back yet? And the lovely Ladybird? I miss scruffy too, and her avatar that makes me smile. I've not seen much of Pinkpig, Jakes Mummy, Keely, Pinkprincess, Newmoneydsaver, kindofagilr, Hypno, Tibnkerbell, MDW, Fritha. I think there are newbies I've not met too! Hello Newbies, sorry for not being on the ball with posting. Also, I've not seen MOTM for a while. And Tine is still missing.

feelie id be the same im not scared of spiders i just hate the idea or feeling of them walking across me (when i was younger .. 15:o .. i had a dream they laid eggs in my brain been worried ever since) .. im waiting for my friend to text me to say when shes coming .. that reminds me i must scrape my dog hairy carpet before she comes :rotfl: ..

i had a go at philip today told him he was messing up my order .. so he got abit upperty .. but why .. why do it everything has its place x

Morning all
I had a bit of a restless night last night, and for once it wasnt one of the kids, I just couldnt seem to get comfy !!
Anyway, plan for today is a major tidy in the sitting room as I am hoping to paint it next week, so want to get all the crap out of it !! And Jas has gymnastics, but other than that, relaxation and chocolate

Not too much to report just been super busy with work and preoccupied with Leila in the evenings.

We had an 'incident' on Tuesday at the Childminders which resulted in Leila having a split eyebrow. When I went to collect her at 5:30pm the CM told me that when she was lifting Leila out of the cot the mobile caught on CM's shoulder and then sort of pulled back so that when it uncaught from her shoulder it swung full pelt into Leila's face. CM said she cried for about a minute and she then observed her etc etc.

I was a little cross CM didnt call me straight away but she said it happened at 3:30pm so she didnt want me to panic when i'd soon be there anyway.

The cut is quite deep and I fear that because of Leila's skin tone it will leave a scar. I think it will be hidden by her eyebrow eventually though. Anyway it fine, I know it was an accident but I'm just upset I couldnt be there to comfort my baby when she really needed me.

Anyway, I got my opportunity later when Leila sneezed and wacked the same eyebrow on the steering wheel of her toy car thing. Then she cried for about 30 seconds and I got the chance to comfort her!!!!!:o

There's a couple of other things that grate me about the CM's care of Leila but it not necessarily bad stuff its just stuff that I wouldnt do and I think things she does annoy me because i'm jealous that she gets to do them with Leila.

(I checked Leila's body for bruises on Tuesday and I left work early on Wednesday to do a spot check on the CM to check she wasnt doing anything she shouldnt - my bosses looked at me like I was a fruit loop when I said thats why I wanted to leave early!!)

Taking Leila to work today so I can get my 'working from home' stuff done now instead of Monday.

mm me and philip dont hold grudges as soon as the subject is done its over and we go back to normal we never argue really ....i think we've got in to 3 maybe 4 full blown arguement in the 7 years we've been living together ..

but more importantly .. what chocolate did you have? has anyone tried the m&s mincepies they had a free sample in there yesterday omg they were gorgeous x
