Oh, speaking of weight, Rhys has lost 1.5oz since Monday  Might have something to do with the rather full in all senses nappy about an hour before being weighed (he was lying on my knee as he filled it - not pleasant!)

That's the problem with really regular weigh-ins, every little blip is noticed. If it were a week before he was weighed again you would just have thought he was having a slower week.

Are the scales in the same place every time he is weighed?

Mel - I use Avent and haven't had a problem with them. Caitlin can bend the teat over sometimes but it's usually when she's messing around taking the teat out then trying to get it back in herself . I haven't had problems with them leaking or anything like that.

    Brill thanks....

Weezl forgot to say, I like Rufus and Felix:D

I am bloody starving, MIL is here at the moment so don't want to make our dinner because she always 'expects' some and as you all know we are skint....which means very little food in the house! I have been rushing around all day...and I had a small bowl of ready brek this morning at about 7am then a wrap at 2pm, once I had arrived at Uni...I only got home at 7pm and from the minuter I walk in the door it is all go, bottle, sleepsuit, wash and bed for baby, supper, pyjamas and supervising teeth and washing and then bed for the older two.............. I think I am going to pass out if she doesn't !!!!!! off soon:rolleyes:

Guys...what's the opposite of "imprint"? I'm trying to describe the markings on a Tommee Tippee bottle for my BB review and my mind has gone blank!

Am not worried.. Rhys' law, an' all that ;)

Yup, same scales - the ones kept in the neonatal nurses pool car - on almost the same bit of carpet everytime :)

thanks for that link choppy - Jack's about on track

grr :mad: just put the heating on, BIL walks in, leaves all the doors open and the landing light on! He's been at footy, stinks and said 'Oh, I'll have a shower in the morning' MINGING!!!!

The sooner he moves out the better - he's looked at one place in 4 weeks and I just heard him say it was crap!

Mel - at least MIL will be gone soon, I'm stuck with BIL. Might have to start being extra noisy when I get up with Jack in the night

Made some scones earlier which were scrummy and had a lovely steak dinner as it was just OH and I.

So much for getting Jack into a routine - he fell asleep when he was supposed to be having a bath and is still asleep now so I'm gonna scrap the bath - naughty mummy.

MM - yeah :j Good luck hun!

I texted 3 earlier cos I was worried she hadn't been on - she's been having lappy problems but is hoping to be on soon.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Evening all. busy fun day here. Went to visit one of our friends this afternoon - baby boy who will be 1 in a few weeks. He has one of these push-along or sit-on toys, and Izzy had a fab time walking up and down with it. My friend was very impressed, as her son can't do that yet, so we sat him on it, and helped her push him along. Everso cute :)

Are they embossed? or just raised markings?
