    Dont think so

I'm in Essex/ London borders plus I dont give up work for another 3½ weeks so am not about!!!:)

Just doing a comparison on nappy/wipes prices at the mo...I have the following at the minute but do you think I need to buy some more in preparation or does that seem enough for the moment?

    Size1 newborn - 4 x 27 packs = 108
    Size 2 - 2 x 62 packs = 124
    Wipes 2 x 12, 1 x 9 plus 5 = 38 packs of wipes

Sami - you will be pleased as I started bulk bying for Henry as well!!

Just worked out I have £40 Nectar vouchers, £40 Boots from Ipsos survey and £23 Advantage points...
oops! I realised its MDW thats in n'wich I think :o
For edgar I used about 11 packs of sz1, 1 or 2 boxes of sz 2 and I think I've used 4 boxes of sz3
now gonna get a pack of sz4 s because I've had to change him in the night for the last week now the little piddle pants :p so hopefully they'll be better!
He's racing through the sizes though I don't think Chris was in sz 3 until about 6months :rotfl:
Don't bother with pull ups at all IMO, they cost a LOT more than nappies, and are less absorbent. You don't need them at all frankly ;) they're no good for potty training because they feel like a nappy, I was scared to go straight into underpants but it really is he best thing you just need to make sure you let H decide he is ready x
Krystal, are you around? they are talking about the problem with Maclaren buggies on radio 2 now, I had assumed that because they arent recalling/issuing the fixing kit in the UK that the problem was not happening with UK ones but thats not true its just that because it still meets the EU safety standards they don't have to do anything in the UK.

We had a maclaren with Millie and it was fab but I won't buy one again after hearing that!

    ETA great news Sugar!
TBH I think all this fuss in the press is ridiculous, I don't have a maclaren but the hinge is almost identical on my cosatto. Any parent with half a brain knows to not let their LO put their fingers anywhere near it when folding it up/down, its just common sense. here endeth my rant :)
Fairy post arrived - thank you xx

Elle - I've never been told to not use rusks  you do need to use the right ones though as the normal/original ones have sugar (and gluten in I think) I recomend avoiding the organix rusks they are weird and nasty

Was gonna comment on more but forgot most..

oh Glam - we don't even get a leaflet at my doc's (yes the same ones that happily jabbed me with MMR without thinking to ask the married mum of an 18mth old if I was/planning to ttc :mad::mad:)

off to txt Feelie with news of baby boy weezl

    Is Weezl back yet????

    Did I miss it????

    Boy or Girl???

*runs off to check if dear Weezlie is back yet*

LOL I did the very same.. shopping dumped in the hallway :o

Congrats Weezl! Boys rule! ;) If you're thinking you might have an early one, I'm thinking my fairies ought to hold on to some dinky things for you..

Now I know, I'd best gather the bags back together and clear up the carnage in the hallway..

  • Has anyone else had a FB friend request from an unknown lady with the initials AG? She says she saw me on Bizzie Baby and she is trying to connect with mums on FB

    Strange or normal?

She does have a website and she is a freelance writer...

Don't really know what to do :o

ooh other thing to say I totally forgot to say yey for Weezl, 2 boys are great :D
This morning Christopher announced he wanted to be a pop star  I said "oh that will be nice" he then said "I'll sing with Edgar"
Edgar stars lovingly at Christopher for about 90% of his waking life - so cute!!

Em - maybe you could find a farmer willing to take the cat  or pop an ad on gumtree asking for an experienced cat person with no kids?

Feely says yey for weezl. She's delayed due o arrive around 6pm, Toby being well behaved and enjoying his first train journey :)
