I hate hairdressers!! I refuse to go to Toni and Guy anymore because it is always some kid wearing too trendy clothing who doesn't think I am cool enough to talk to. When I went when Benjamin was about 6 or 7 weeks I said to the girl that I had just had a baby and I was treating myself and she just gave me a stupid wet half-smile  Even if she wasn't ar5ed about my baby she could at least have asked his name
They certainly don't teach 'em chit-chat at toni and guy

I went Toni and Guy once and had a similar experience. I was totally ignored and she spoke to her mate who was working on the woman next to me the whole time. We heard how the girl cutting my hair had broken up with her boyfriend and slept with two other men in revenge, and she was comparing the revenge shags to the boyfriend. It was totally inappropriate and one of those conversations where you don't want to listen but can't help listening to it :o
Here I go again on my own....

Carla, move his last feed back by 5 or 10 mins every night till you get to a reasonable time, but expect to get up earlier !!
Dylan was in his own room at 9 weeks !!

ta MM -- i need to make him more routined i suppose - at the minute he has his "dinner feed" around 5ish, and then wnts another full(ish) bottle around 7.30-8, but has a little wake period until about 8.30-9! so i dunno which way to approach it really.
carla as soo as jayden falls asleep on me at 5-6 ish hes straight upstairs to bed x

i did that with Katie -- dont wanna start it again with Christopher as as soon as i had put Katie down in her cot she woke up!
took ages to get outta the habit! although, all children are different....christopher may not!!?

Can't believe Christopher is still in moses basket!
Jack keeps waking himself up when he stretches and I woke up this morning and he'd wriggles right up to the top! Probably about 5 inches away from the top when he's at the bottom!

yeah, altho he is getting a tad big for it now, prob around the same as Jack. He doesnt do much moving about in his sleep though, where I put him at night is were he usually is in the monring!!

hi carla i put jasmine in a proper routine about the same time, she went in her own room at 12 weeks (i kno its not recomended but she slept so much better in there!) n we started putting her up after her 7pm feed, she used to have a dream feed about 11ish but she doesnt need that anymore so she goes up at 7-7.30 with jake and its great!! its my fave time of the day (god that sounds awful i love em really ha)!!

i know wat you mean about your favourite time of the day!! We all love our little kiddiewinkles, but we are human and have our own life too!!! :)
I think Katie was around the same age as Christopher when we put her in her own room aswell.
Yay for sleeping throught the night!!
We put Benjamin in his own room at 12 weeks and it was the best thing we ever did! No more creeping around like theives in our own house!!
Does he nap around 7.30pm? I would just try getting him off to sleep, putting him down and seeing how you go. Benjamin used to wake for a feed about midnight for a while - or you could wake him to feed him before you go to bed.

Mummy time is fab!! Mummy and daddy time is even better ;)

my motto is - never wake a sleeping baby!! think i mentioned up there, that his last feed is around 8ish, and thats until about 8ish the next morning.
Katie used to sleep from 6.30pm -8.30am....i hope hse hasnt ruined me!! lol
    Carla-Farla!! :)

Mummy to Katie (27.11.07) and Christopher (05.08.09) ♥♥

We would all bring our own sarnies ;) and I would make my famous potatoes :D

Bring a bottle as well and you're on! :)

Will probably end up having to get married in Pembrokeshire cos OH's grandparents won't travel - my Dad and grandad are there but means I have to travel and so does my Mum (but then I guess as they are all dotted around the country someone will always have to travel!

OH will want a church wedding but I think it's a bit hypcritical because we don't go to church and I'm not religious at all

    Thanks Sami!

Roll on Rhys sleeping through.. I want him in his own room before Christmas, regardless of if he's sleeping through.

So do my parents cos I'm having my futon from their loft in there and they want the loft space back! :p

'They' say that babies 'can't' sleep through until they weigh about 14lbs (if I remember correctly) so you may have some way to go yet. But TBH it is still worth moving him out IMHO, even if I get up in the night and feed Benjamin (in our bed) I still put him back in his room and then I can relax in my bed with hubby again!!

    Waffle away!!
    Does Rhys have OH's surname?

(nowI am being nebby!! feel free to tell me where to go!!)

Yup, OH's name - prefer his name to mine! :p (tis not nebby :)) Always thought we'd get there eventually - we had a chant in the hospital "yay, Team Stephens!" even though I'm not a Stephens.. :o (used to stretch Rhys' arms up to it)

I just don't want the fuss and attention on me that comes with a wedding..

Elle - I hate attention too!!!

Oh, 14lbs - better fatten Jack up a bit more then! Only 3.5lbs to go!

Right, off to make bottles for the night and then go to bed once Jack has his next feed in an hour or so! Plus lappy battery low and CBA to plug charger in!

Will be back with you all in the morning!
