    warm liquid works by helping to relax the airways. I swear by hot coffee (the caffeine also helps) but not sure Rhys would agree. Or he might, but Elle wouldn't!
  • No news from SS yet, hopefully she is tucked up warm at her mums house :)

    I hate lemsip ... I do however have a bottle of JD in the kitchen :) Might try that little remedy later !!

    You could just try it in warm lemonade with some honey and/or sugar.

    Or just drink the whole bottle neat and you won't care about your cold any more! :D

  • I don't have a turkey IN the freezer yet lol... We do have an emergency big chicken... But Hubby was hoping for Goose breast from Lidl... I might pop down today and see if they have any back in yet...

    Northern Ladies... How's the snow? In Laws are supposed to be coming down this afternoon.... I don't know if they will be able to if it's all snowy...
    A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
    Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Mums been trying to get the Aldi 3 bird roast for weeks - finally got one yesterday in a different Aldi.

    No snow here :sad: - but apparently its snowing over in Liverpool.
