ours could have been that and a little more, but we havent got our Christmas alcohol yet and i came down hard on Robbie buying things , like excess amounts of cheese and crackers and crisps etc -- also, he was hungry while we shopped, so that didnt help matters!!! :rolleyes:money_maker wrote: »can I ask, WHY ??? do you wrap santas presents? by not wrapping them, that is what differentiates them from all the other presents. We just have a big sack that all the presents go in to and the ones that dont fit sit out on the sofa or beside it

Hope you manage to get on the flight ss:)
Tara I hope ben is ok this morning xx
fairies might make po this aft, when we go see dh mate x I can't believe so many of you don't wrap all pressies, I've never heRd of it before!!! I do the same as Becles, everything gets wrapped as individually as possible:) makes the unwrapping last longer, otherwise it is over too quickly for them!!??
3 I always miss you, hope you are ok. I don't tend to get on much in the evenings, just bob in and out...on iphone.
Must go get dressedUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
EM if you're still about - I was reading the reviews for that seat in Argos, and quite a few said they'd received a different colourway than advertised. So we might not get the bright red one after all!parsnips the same as any other veg; scrub or peel, you can par boil or just shove 'em staight in the oven with oil on, thyme goes nice with them and or honey. If your putting honey on them only put it on 10mins or so before they're done otherwise it'll burn n taste nasty
You did say thank you. xx
I just thinking we've become quite open about fairy post but please remember it's not within the mse rules so we should really keep the on thread mentions breif and PM/FB details
i was thinking the same on the fairy post thing, do you think thats one of the reasons we havent got a new thread yet, cos the guides dont want to be seen to be having anything to do with us!! or perhaps we really have just been snubbed, they are around every other part of this board?Mummy to

It's Manchester Jillie - our flight so far has no delay information, it says we'll be on time. I suspect them of lying to us :rotfl:
I'll be online at various points, possibly purely for venting and catching up.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning all, havent had time to catch up yet with last lot of posts since yesterday but we finally have a name....
William George
And I know thats nothing like we were thinking but hey.. I did have to turn OH away from Kenton, Linton and some other weird choices
We went to party and had a lovely time although Henry had a rough night so he was a bit ratty while we were there and had a few tantrums but overall good to get out!!! Plus we nipped to our local on way home so I could see a few more familiar faces which was good.
Dont know why but Henry seems to be waking up about 4ish and having really bad dreams so OH has been sleeping on his floor past couple of nights. We are still in spare room as LO just wont settle in cot, we have resorted to bringing cot downstairs during the day and putting him in that so that he gets a bit more used to it.
Hope everyone preparations are going well, SS's journey is ok and poorly babies feel better soon....Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
yay!!!
welcome william george!!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Hi Mel :santa2:and everyone else.
Hope the poorly babies and bigger ones are feeling a little better today.
Em Is he off his milk too?
SS Have a safe flight. If the family drive you insane, contact us north western ladies on here and we'll meet up and give you some sanity!
Mel If you haven't already got them (but you probably have because your so organised!), I saw spongebob bedding sets, little rugs & fleecy blankets in Home & Bargain yesterday - and thought of you!
All of our presents get wrapped. I have been asked in the past why Santa has the same wrapping paper as us, and writing like mebut told her that I send wrapping paper and tags to Santa because he has so many presents to wrap! I've also told her that we have to send money to Santa towards the presents - so she doesn't think Santa has a money tree to get her whatever she wants!
Then everyone gets their own pile on christmas morning, with little presents in the stockings on top of the pile. I suppose we do it like that because thats how we did it when I was little.
This is the first year that DD1 doesn't believe  but she has agreed to pretend for the sake of V.
I should really wrap the big ones now while DD1 is at Nannys. She went for a sleepover last night.:beer:0
