Tara - hugs for Ben, I had that useless feeling when DD had Chickenpox, complete with mummy guilts as I had to work.

The 21st did make me feel old as I first met her (she's DH's neice) when she was 6!

tara, you might be best then to give them a ring, just to check as the A & E here said to me normally what they would send kids home with anti bs for , this year they are keeping them in a night to be on the safe side, thats how they knew what Dylan had

As suggested, maybe call NHS direct and get some advice. It will get him some help and/or put your mind at rest.

The nurse is 2 doors away, she said earlier that there wasn't much they would do. A&E is 45 minutes away so that's no option just for a check. Will ride it out to the morning. Have got his temp down by a degree by getting him to drink loads. Said he felt sick but when I got him upstairs he started laughing at the toilet. Hasn't got a clue where he is or what he's doing!

*hugs* tara What you describe is how my friend told me her 16yo brother was when he had suspected swine flu. Suspected because no doctor would come out to see him, so he spent five days in bed, sweating buckets and seeing things

My hair is all straight now, ready for tomorrow. It's clearly bugging me cos I've instantly twisted it up off my neck Having 3-4" taken off

So much to do in the next few days.. best write a list!
