Poor Seth
I just ventured onto the pets board to see what the people who like animals have to say - they've been far more helpful and less scary than I was expecting. I still think they're looking at it in terms of "nice dog, well trained, overcautious new mother" - but if the dog gets into the room it may not be the end of the world. If it approaches Molly while barking or growling I'm still going to bundle it into the kitchen and fillet my brother before leaving though.
Edit: SB we have a Santa suit for Christmas, but thank youOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Good lord, I think OH has been taken over by the spirit of Keith Floyd  Lager in hand, he'd making bolgnaise sauce for my tea, sloshing red wine into it, and he's got dried fruit soaking in some cocktail of spirits that he found in the back of the cupboard. He's baking... not sure what though!
Hammy, just waiting to hear from pookie as I promised her some ages (:o) ago then I'll get back to you
Em, hope Seth is better soonxx

Hugs for poorly babies and bigger children. They're not allowed to be ill this week. I hope everyone makes a miraculous recovery before Thursday night.
Hugs to anyone else who wants one.
I'm so jealous of everyones snow fun today - we had some, but probably only about 5mm! We never get proper snow here by the coast. But it didn't stop DD1 going out in the garden at 10am til lunchtime.Krystaltips wrote: »3, I bought a pack of bickipegs for Aimee and don't think she ever finished the box... They're horrible things lol... I did get Caitlyn a packet of baby biscotti from Lidl yesterday, she loves those!!!
They're vile aren't they - they remind me of dog biscuits!
3 unsealed boxes are still here if anyone wants them.
MIL also found the baby biscotti in Lidl (or was it Netto?). She can't resist a bargain, so bought 10 packs! Luckily DS is enjoying them too - so they may be eaten before the best before date.
She did the same with some Heinz baby cooking sauces/gravy - they were on offer in H&B so she bought 20 sachets - about 3 months before we started weaning! The last of them went in the bin yesterday out of date.
After messing up my asda order on Friday - I got a delivery tonight. 2 boxes of pampers and 3 bottles of wine. That was what I put on my original order to save the delivery slotso i'm guessing I just didn't save the rest of the stuff.
Oh well - i'm sure nappies and wine will get used!
My tree is finally up - if a bit wonky! I'll do pics in a bit.
Florists I tried today were all closed so didn't get my cellophane - but will try tomorrow.
I love the look of Mums and MIL's hampers - I think everyone will be getting them next year. I'm so proud of myself for being creative.:beer:0 -
Hi All,
Hugs all round.
Not had chance to catch up.
DD had a fab time at a 21st birthday last night, danced herself to sleep at 10.30. Must remember that ice+slope+heels is not a good combo - a slip without fall - dh caught me!
All shopping complete - done in person as like to inspect stuff too.
Finally decided and bought DH something for Christmas from both of us - he's got really dry hands so I've bought him hand cream.
DD has had a wonderful time in the snow - we went for a walk this afternoon she picked up the principals of snowballs with NO coaching.
She did get upset this morning as she saw it snowing through the shop windows and there was none on the floor when we came out!
MDWProud to be dealing with my debts
