OH wants roast parsnips, how on earth do you cook them? i've never cooked them cos i dont like them! are you meant to put honey on them or something?

oh and on fairy post, i've only sent one ickle package, but have recieved a couple of bits, i've posted offering things a few times but nobody seems to want my wares so :p
i am suddenly very paranoid that i didnt say thank you to the sami fairies, although i'm sure i did, so thanks again just in case!!
parsnips the same as any other veg; scrub or peel, you can par boil or just shove 'em staight in the oven with oil on, thyme goes nice with them and or honey. If your putting honey on them only put it on 10mins or so before they're done otherwise it'll burn n taste nasty
You did say thank you. xx

I just thinking we've become quite open about fairy post but please remember it's not within the mse rules so we should really keep the on thread mentions breif and PM/FB details :)

We had to come the back way through town, the hgh street was closed because it resembled a bobsleigh track  our road is the same is a steeper incline l!! I need to go out 2mo too - thank god our car has an 'ice' setting!

GRRR my case, containing Husband's Christmas presents for others, is 7kg overweight and he's whinging about it.

He can carry his own boogery presents!!!

Edit: my case is now lighter by 6kg of garden gnome (now nestling amid Husband's clothes) and 1.5kg of unnecessary coat that I no longer feel like giving to my mother.

  • The estate I live the cars end up doing ballet as well, the main road isn't to bad as it gets gritted as it's a bus route, but the little roads off it aren't, I've performed several pirouettes in my time living here.

DD is getting excited about Christmas Eve now as I've found a receipe for Christmas Biscuits and I've promised her that we'll make some to leave out for Father Christmas - I've even bought appropriately shaped cutters.

  • Jas bought popcorn kernels tonight so we can all sit and watch the santa clause and eat popcorn together on christmas eve before bed !! She loves family films, curled up on the big sofa all together !
