  • tara, that makes a little tiny bit of sense ........ I think :p
Will DD2 be on her own on christmas morning if you are at DD1s house? Could OH not wait to have a drink till he gets back to yours? Or pay the extortionate prices to book a christmas day taxi?
Poor you though, its gonna be hard

SM, I'm a tight wad anyway, I keep pressies to family, else it could go on forever, I don't know. What does Philip say?

Edit, just read your other post, why don't you not bother next year!

SM, without knowing her circumstances and the depth of your friendship, thats not one I could comment on. Everyones money situation can change on a monthly basis, on the surface of it it seems a bit unfair, but .... I just dont know

i know mm thats why i wasnt completely sure i should be angry just my first thought is ... that doesnt seem fair im going through all this effort so she doesnt feel bad shes broke when she'l quite happily pay for a camera for some silly little cow but philip who shes known for 11 years oh yer he just gets a box of chocolates thrown his way like shes doing us a favour x

Tara - Maybe ben saw some of river monsters? its a tv prog about really big fish, the advert scares Chris! I'm sick of censoring tv in the daytime  today at mums I had to change channel about 5 times because something inapropriate came on! She let him watch I'm a celeb when it was on and he had nightmares for a week

I'm sure DD2 will get over it and come to her senses soon xx

It's a 70mile round trip, think taxi is out of the question.:rotfl: No we will spend morning here with the younger ones and meet at DD1's at 2pm. Late lunch as she is working in the morning. DD2 still goes on about how she thinks she should have the same as the ones at home for Xmas but I spend about £60ish on her now as she's left home and she had big pressies when she was at home. I don't spend that much on all of mine and no where near that on Maddy. When the others get older they will have less and once they have children, less again. Oh flippen eck, I don't know!

Tara could DD2 stay over at DD1's on Christmas eve? maybe if DD1 invites her so you're not involved (that DD2 knows of anyway) then she'll be happy?

Maybe it was, I don't get some of the tv either. Particularily now Erin watches Eastenders and stuff, she seems to take a lot more in then I'd like!

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
