SM, can't you just have it out with her, once and for all? This has been going on for months.. If Philips not bothered by her behaviour, is he bothered about her staying a friend too?

Tara could DD2 stay over at DD1's on Christmas eve? maybe if DD1 invites her so you're not involved (that DD2 knows of anyway) then she'll be happy?

We tried that, DD1 is at work until 2pm though so DD2 got stroppy about that. When it was suggested that she could help prepare the veg maybe to help her pregnant sister out she hit the roof and said there was no way she was going near the kitchen, think she's having a little hormonal crisis at the mo!

elle he is very bothered about losing her as a friend ... he knows as well i do if things kick off it will really kick off as she doesnt tend to listen and is very hot headed and stubborn x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • So, does DD2 want to go to DD1s house aswell?
Hold on I am confusing myself
You are going to be at your own house on christmas eve and morning?
(is DD2 coming over to you in the morning? Or will she be at her own house?)
Then at 2pm going to DD1s house? I take it DS dad lives near DD1 ? Or have I got that completely wrong?

Anyway, if I have the above wrong, then sorry, but if its right, then DD2 will be with you all of christmas morning and then on her own that night. I know it may be a bit of a random out there suggestion, but if she wants to go with you, could you go together to hire a mini bus for a day? Wouldnt think it would be too expensive, but thats possibly a bad idea :) sorry

Tara - Maybe ben saw some of river monsters? its a tv prog about really big fish, the advert scares Chris! I'm sick of censoring tv in the daytime  today at mums I had to change channel about 5 times because something inapropriate came on! She let him watch I'm a celeb when it was on and he had nightmares for a week

I'm sure DD2 will get over it and come to her senses soon xx

Tell me about it - as you all know I am victorian mum / stepmum but it really bothers me that it is now acceptable to say !!!! and similar words at any time of the day - I don't want to hear it, never mind the kids!!

We couldn't watch Love Actually because it started at 9pm and 'contains strong language from the beginning' DSS doesn't go to bed until 9.30pm (when he is with us - although he goes much later on a Friday - topic of tomorrows scrap with the practice wife ;))

I have booked tickets to see John Bishop who was on Live at the Apollo tonight - I was sure we didn't like him last time we saw him on TV but tonight hubby was belly laughing so I had to book :D

    Edit - !!!! ^^ up there says a r s e LOL

DD1, DD2 and DS1 will all be in the same town on Xmas morning at different houses. We are 35miles away. We will drive over there at 2pm. DD2 thinks the world should revolve around her at the moment so maybe she is a little jealous that DD1 is getting attention for being pregnant. Oh I don't know. But I am going away for Xmas next year as this is ridiculous. Oh and DD1 had a fall last night, she slipped getting out the bath in their new house and fell on her Tummy! After a trip to the hospital baby is ok. X

This is only a snippet of my crappy few days!
