    Evening all...

My sis has just left.. Left with the comment to OH "Get your tree up, it's not very festive in here!" :p I've cleared space for it so hopefully he might get the hint. He was a bit more pleasant to me when I went to see him after sis had left

So jealous of my sis - she looks good in whatever she wears and her hair is just how I want mine! :o (pics here, here and here if anyone's interested)

Thanks guys. Love that play nest SS, you are dangerous to my bank balance though cos now it seems like a good idea to get both of it.

If the money had been just a bonus I would have expected half (or there abouts) for the half year I have worked, but they are making a one off payment in lieu of a payrise which, if it were a payrise I would be entitled to and therefore, I want. Spoken to my other mummy friend and she spoke to the payroll man who told her she was getting it, and therefore, by default so should I. We'll find out on Monday.

As an added bonus, I got confirmation today that I get the surestart maternity grant, not sure if I mentioned it to you lot or my mother. Know I've told someone. Anyway, it was someone on here who told me to try for it even though I didn't think I'd get it, so a huge Thank You from Kezia and I, that means I can have an extra month of maternity leave with her and now don't go back full time until July 10. YIIPPPEEEEE

IF OH had gone out, she was going to stay overnight and we were going to do the tree for entertainment. As he's still here she's gone back to Mum's before the roads get really bad - though she took great delight in telling OH our road was like an ice rink, all mok innocence

On the topic of bonuses, you should get it all. Hold on, will find a link..

Harley, you did tell us - so don't forget to tell your mum too! ;)

No elle, my link is strictly toy-related - the bonus stuff I know only because someone was talking about it the other day :)

Have just booked us a second night in a nice hotel - this one because I'm off out to dinner with my lovely friends on Tuesday night and don't want to risk us driving back in the ice. So we'll arrive late Monday, be out all Tuesday and Wednesday and back in time for Wednesday night, then Thursday the festivities will begin and everything will be fine, hopefully, till at least the 27th, and if it all goes wrong after that we can flee :)

Thanks Elle, though I've rung her twice today already so I think I'll save it until tomorrow now. Daren't interupt her dancing final, I'd not be flavour of the month then.

Thanks, appreciate it if you could find a link, if I have to fight for it I'd like to know what I'm talking about.

As far as Xmas trees go, you are not alone. I'm going to try to do mine tonight now I can't get to this damn wedding. Kezia might actually sleep in a minute so I'll be able to get on with it.

Yup, so I saw (so I deleted what I said so now it looks like you were imagining it.. :p :rotfl:).

OH, peering out the window, "It's snowing again.. big flakes.. the worst kind.. would make driving bad. Do you want a cuppa?". I tried so hard not to laugh ;):p

Bet you failed though Elle. I'd have been giggling into next week, but thats cos I've got a wicked streak.

Loving the avvy btw, Rhys is such a cutie.
