And for everyone else,Harley - MrsM recomended the gracco fun rock giggles which is similar, not sure what it costs though
Had a look and it's half price at £44.99 at mo. Might think about that oneoh no harley that sucks! what about toys r us, they do bright start things? seth had a bright start bouncy chair that we got from there?
kezia wont know if you wait and get her something in the january sales either
Thanks Em, Jan sales are looking favourite at mo. Need to save money as there is a rumour that I might not get the bonus that everyone else at work is getting instead of a payrise. £500 that I was counting on.
Anyone know if that is illegal, for me not to get it due to being on maternity leave. I've seen the letter everyone else got and it just says you get it if on the payroll Dec 09 which I am. But the new boss said we needed to talk about it in quiet time (ie, when we're not surrounded by people in a busy pub in case I kick off, which obviously I would)
I've lost a quote somewhere but SS I think suggested the garden gym for Kezia, I love it but it looks like a tummy thing and Kezia is not impressed by the idea of tummy time yet. Not even on me anymore though she used to lie on my chest quite happily for ages but now just wants to be sat up or lying on her back. Lazy like her mother I guess:rotfl:

Harley, how about this? And maternity leave does not exclude you from any benefits of being an employee, to deny your bonus is illegal.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Got Chris present sorted today so I am done :j And I posted the last card too, so other than food I can relax from now till Christmas:T
what did you get him after all?
harley, my work have given me a xmas bonus, but as pro rata for what i've worked for the year  so while everyone else has got the princely sum of £100, mine will be whatever it works out to with me taking off the 9 months  i didnt question it TBH, i havent actually been working so was quite pleased just to get a bit for what i worked, and i know the other girl who was on mat leave and started back when i was off is getting the same thing. if i'd had the whole year from january to january, and then not got anything in my payslip from the 39th week, i wouldnt expect there to be a xmas bonus in there IYSWIM? you obviously havent been off as long as i have though.
there is lots of squabbling and backbiting with people saying that full time staff should get more bonus than part time, i just dont want to get involved!
i feel like a very bad mummy for feeling annoyed that i cant go out tonight cos seth is illi missed my birthday night out cos my nan was ill and couldnt have him, and now he is ill so i'm stuck in again  feel bad for him that he is ill, but annoyed at the same time, is that wrong?

it was all 3 of us going tonight, for a nose round my friends new place. i called it off cos i didnt think it was worth it what with seth being a snotty grump. they moved away about a month ago and were going to cook us dinner tonight. its not like its anything that cant wait! i feel really selfish for thinking it though. and even more selfish and evil for already being annoyed that i'm probably going to lose a days pay monday if seth still isnt wellMummy to
