Hubby asked me if I wanted to go to bed a minute ago and is now playing the Wii... That machine is going to be seriously bad for us I think lol..A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I thought of growing pains, but it just seems a bit too sore for her, Chris is up with her at the minute, she wants cuddles, and I smell of baby sick, so I am deemed not cuddly !!!She wants me to carry her to the toilet though cuz daddy bangs her head off the door frame !!
Will take her out in the morning, but she is worrying me slightly, she isnt normally like this, even when she is sick or soreThe two best things I have done with my life

oh and apologies if this scares anyone but I know a boy that kept getting told he had growing pains in his calf but it was bone cancer
This links in to what I was rambling on about regarding painkillers the other day.
In the 'olden days' when our parents and were children (and some of us!!) if you had a pain you took a painkiller. If you took a painkiller and the pain didn't go away then you went to the doctor and either got stronger painkillers or had tests to see if it could be something worse.
For some reason, we now live in a society that says painkillers are bad and we shouldn't take them, we should just suffer the pain (I do it too) and this is leading to an increase in undiagnosed serious illnesses such as cancers and tumours.
So, without scaremongering, if we or our children are in pain, painkillers serve a purpose of being able to deal with common ailments. If painkillers don't work, then we need to consult professionals.

I've never frowned on the use of calpol for a fever or a pain... I've got through bottles of the stuff over the years with Aimee...
I do frown on a friend of mine who routinely dosed her child up on (not calpol, the other one babies aren't allowed now) she would give a spoonful every night before bed... It kind of backfired though, said child won't take any kind of medicine now...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Medinol is the prescription version of calpol, both the same thing...
We used to get medinol from our chemist and it was fine... Now we get nasty orange flavoured paracetamol suspension... Aimee gags at anything orange now...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Oh god!! It reminds me of someone who told me that she gives her son Calpol when they go on a plane so he sleeps :eek:money_maker wrote: »An acquaintance of mine gives her little one one of the drowsy ones every night before bed so that she will sleep and mum can have a drink !!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't being funny! I just think give her something and if she is still really bad then she needs to go and see the doc.
Hope she is okay. What crap timing on her birthday too
