If he has had more milk today than normal, I probably wouldnt, but if he has had less, then I would, but then I have never done a dream feed for either child, so I am possibly not the best one to answer !!
He normally has 6 bottles (inc DF) and has between 5-6 oz - so max 36oz and has had about 35oz today without DF.
My friends LO suddenly went every 4hours and only has 5 bottles but that includes DF. I'm trying to avoid having to feed him in the night if I don't do DF and don't want our routine to get messed up.
I guess I could try him at 11pm and see what he takes - I am trying to be MSE though and not waste a 7oz bottle of milk!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
I would only make up a 4 or 5 oz bottle since he has had plenty of milk today already.
I remember when Jas was little, you were told that if they woke up in the night to give them water so they learned it wasnt worth their while waking up !!!The two best things I have done with my life

Means sterilising a bottle and making one up and I only have slow flow or vari flow teats - the rest are on his bottles.
Sod it - he finished his last bottle at 9.30pm so I can't see him taking anymore at 11pm. I might as well just go to bed and see what happens. Like you say he's had plenty of milk already today
right, better actually go to bed just in case I have to get up!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Dunno Glam, I think that at some point they have to learn to go from bedtime to breakfast time without milk so I've never dream fed. But I have been blessed with babies who like their sleep and when they do wake, its a feed and back down. Amber has been sleeping through for a lot more than 4 weeks, so from Jacks age at least.

Deep breaths, deep breaths... I'm fed up!
OH is whinging cos I've asked him to strip the rest of the wallpaper in Rhys' room cos the builder is coming tomorrow. I asked him last Friday and only now is he bothering to do it. Also he's wittering about needing to do the rest of it at the weekend, yet still saying he's going to his friend's on Saturday evening and making out like he's doing me a big favour taking Rhys to his appointment on Saturday morning. Hang on a minute - who is it that's done all the Christmas shopping and is now skint and vastly running out of time while he's asking me I put bows and ribbons on his PITA familiy's presents?! ARGH!!!
And Rhys is wittering too.. dunno what he wants - not food, not changing, not playing, not hugs.. give up
As you were..0 -
