Phew, car hire is booked so we can make a quick exit if we need to and are independently mobile. Plus we're collecting it from the airport and returning it there, so nobody has to bring us to the airport as we leave. Total independence!
My mum just sent me a very normal email about Christmas cards, starting "Hi hon" and ending "love, mum xxxx" (again, we never sign emails with love or kisses). I'm not impressed with pretending nothing's happening but I suppose better that than continuing the Big Fight.
So we have an escape route handy just in case, and the plan is that if the dog snaps at, barks at or frightens Molly in any way we'll decamp to a hotel immediately pending asap dog-removal. If the dog isn't removed I'll collect our stuff, box whatever's not coming with us for shipping, and we'll take a holiday from our holiday, and if it snaps at her I'll report it to the police. If the dog is kept away from Molly we'll pretend nothing happened.
We'll probably leave before the 2nd Jan anyway, either for a hotel or to a friend's house.
Elle, I just PMd you, Krystal I'm just about to PM you, :grouphug: to everyone else and I am about to go grab my third glass of wine
Did I say this morning that I'm not a binge drinker? This is about the most wine I've had since before I was pregnant. And I'm not one for high boots (boots are for winter, winter is icy, therefore boots must be functional) but I did recently buy these.
Gorgeous shoes. Hope the wine doesn't give you a fuzzy head in the morning.
Suitable for what?
Loving G&S! I love Pete and Dawny.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
