I know in the 'olden' days people used to make a stew (for example) and leave it on the stove for a week just reheating it....didn't they?
In fact FIL still does this ALL the time.
I am just paranoid xUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

I've done lots and lots of shopping!
and
Picked up the rings - engraving looks fabWearing mine now (until OH comes home), feels odd!
Got home to find five parcels waiting with our neighbour for me. Went to pick up yesterdays (I was here all the time but got a card through the door.. that old chestnut!) from the sorting office.. If anyone's wondering, apparently they're now not allowed to leave it with a neighbour unless it says so on the outside of the package, so if you want it left with yours, you need to put it in a comments or delivery instructions box somewhere when you're ordering
Got lots of wrapping to do tonight now. Must must must order my sister's card from Moonpig later - please someone remind me!Just got a few more things to get but I know what and where from so that's no prob, will go tomorrow with OH if he lets me go into town with him - threatening not to cos he's still shopping for a few of my presents apparently

Mel, unless your house is very warm, it should be fine. Have a good sniff and if it smells iffy don't do it.
I leave veg soup on the hob over night.
