Ich habe dich liebe - I have love for you

As Lucy was born in 1981, do you think I could get away with singing 'I have love for you if you were born in the eighties'

I don't usually compare, but my brother is always going on about how much better off they are

Your brother sounds like a smug know it all that has to put people down to rub his overly inflated ego.

With regards to presents and value, I buy people what I buy and if it's not enough, tough. I don't expect or ask for anything back. With my girls, I tell them to be sensible and try and limit them to pound shops, but they always spend more, so I always give them more money this time of year as they all buy presents for each other too. Of course I spend as much as I want on them, it's part of my parental role! I've tried limiting Lucy but she's not listening and we're spoiling her.

Try not to worry what Brother thinks, it sounds like he will have some kind of put down no matter what you do.

My life is quite different to yours MOTM, but I feel I have much in common with your values, carefulness and sensitivity. :)

Well, we have similar values as you say, so that's a positive. And your boy looks a cheeky little fella ;)
  • MOTM- I am immensely jealous of you having a partner who writes Christmas cards, although to be fair the state of my OH's handwriting people would probably think Henry had written them.

My handwriting is hardly great, especially right now, but most females appear to have good handwriting.

Sorry you have to do all yours though :o
  • Sorry, just a brief jaunt - i'm going to relax before school run. Lucy and 16yo went shopping together this morning as I feel rough :( Think i've been overdoing it, so relaxing apart from getting little ones and taking them this morning. Lucy and 16yo now back and seemingly bought half of the shopping centre  so i'd better go and take a peek and see if they bought me anything I can eat when I feel a bit better :o

Sorry if I missed any big news or replies, I have a heavy head and can't stay in front of screen too long.

Hope you are all well and are having a good day.

It might SS - I will give it a go at any rate, I just like food, I love it actually, I HAVE LOTS OF LOVE FOR IT!! :D

I wish I wasn't in love with it though, I blame my mum for this, as a kid food was a reward, and like when my step dad was a douche to me (often) my mum would always take his side, but then buy me a chinese....?! If you hurt yourself, aw heres a bag of crisps. Food makes me better!

Ive got to go back to nursery for half 2, as the kids are seeing Santa, I look a right mink today and was going to come home and do my hair (It's just tied back as it was sticking out like medusa) but then I was caught in a torrential downpour, so not even going to bother!

The morning nursery kids are there too and seriously, there is one little girl who is utterly obese, not even kidding, I had heard the other kids talking about her (she used to be in the afternoons last year) and it was that girl I saw when I went to see the nursery who was nicking the other kids biccies. Her mum has dressed her in what looks like a big white bridesmaids dress.

    Hi all :)

Does anyone know offhand what date Krystal's Caitlyn was born? I ordered a personalised taggy blanket off ebay and they've got the date wrong!

Went to baby group today - Caitlyn is 12lb 3oz so still really light, has only gained 6 oz in 5 weeks. And we had these to drink out of - I'm getting me one!
