    elle i knw this sounds wierd but dont use wet hair on those straighteners use damp to nearly dry .. ive had them and went back to normal ones they p!ssed me off too much .. i have thick curly hair and they were pants ... just thought id let you know ..

    I have thick curly hair too and have been using the wide ones weekly for about seven years (on my second pair). Always use them on towel dried hair and every hairdresser I've seen compliments me on the condition of my hair so it's obviously not doing me any harm :confused:
