Oh Elle, love that hairstyle. Would you get your hair dyed like that too?

Well she is still awake!! Everytime she lies down she starts coughing, it sounds really horrible, big chesty ones. She hasn't eaten hardly anything today, about half a banana and a lollypop....great!!

Drinking plenty of fluids though. Think she'll be off nursery the rest of the week though.

Not a chance - that's far too much upkeep (and expense!) for me.. I was really blonde when I was little but very dark now. Might have highlights put back in, it's probably been at least five years since I had colour on it (used to all the time when my mum trained as a hairdresser!).

    Hope she's brighter soon xx
  • elle, that is almost what my hair was like a couple of years ago except my front bits were shorter. Its really pretty !! But very hard work to keep it like that

  • I wish i'd never had those biscuits now, right before bed as I can't sleep, so will have to type quietly as young lady is sleeping next to me. It was all that talk about needing the loo and now I have indigestion

With regards to names, I think you tend to know once you look at your child. For some reason 'she looks like a Sarah' or whatever, often is true.

My girls were named (no particular order) Abbie, Gracie, Maria, Katherine, Hannah, Emily, Carly. Not sure what that says about them (or me!)

    Hello Beenie

Yeah I will try and prop her up but she isn't one for sleeping upright. Poor thing, I can't find the snuffle babe either, sure I still had some aswell!

Last time I got my hair dyed was about 3months after having Keira, I asked for caramel highlights and darker lowlights, the caramel went ginger colour after a few washes. I remember my hair was loads thicker back then, boohoo. I daren't put dye on it now, my hair might disintegrate.

How about some red? Unleash the wild side!
  • right I am off to bed, its Jasmine christmas play at school tomorrow morning and MIL is keeping Dyaln while I'm there. The woman is obsessed with walking !! And is not impressed that I have told her he is not allowed outside in the cold air so she has to stay in the house for a whole hour while she has him !!!

Just finished completeing a survey, on nappies. They sent me a pack of 30 pampers pull ups for free to try plus £2.50 for doing the survey. Once it's credited that's another £10 I'll have, yey. Might start saving them up throughout the year as I seem to get a lot of surveys, at least 1/2 every day!

Trying to compose a note to my MIL asking her not to unload the dishwasher - she leaves all the dishes all over the side for me to put away anyway  At least they are tidy in the dishwasher!!

I could just put them away but I feel that I am not tackling the issues (I am hiding my ironing too!) and at some point I will explode!

    Definately needs saying MFD.

Also it's not very ergonomic. Everything gets handled twice rather than once, so it doubles the length of the job. NO NEED. I wonder if she's desperate to make a contribution but can't think how to help you? Could the note be a bit: 'please don't do the dishwasher, I realise it's tricky when you don't know where everything lives. If you fancy doing anything though, then we've been meaning to ......(insert job she could do without getting up your nose)'?

Hmmmmmn thinking about it, I would write that to my mum, but I'd struggle to say that to my MIL cos I want her to have no room to think I'm not domestically perfect :rotfl:. I'd probably end up saying to go through fergie's clothes drawer and take out all the 3-6 month vests or something like that...:D

I did with DS tho, i asked my mother if i poo'd and she said "yeah a bit" lol, nice!

I must have shared this before, but scene taken from the arrival of fergus:

Weezl (just at beginning of pushing stage, on all fours, in a whiny childish sobbing kinda way...): Some of my poo came out!
MW: (reassuringly) Don't worry it's fine very normal, not a problem...
Weezl: (More whiny now) But it landed on my foot!

    :rotfl:

Been up since 4 . Not fergie, he's sound asleep.

got a meeting and 4 clients today so need to function well. Not keen to have too much rocket fuel though (coffee) in case Kester decides to pop out. Did I say we reached the 'viable' mile stone a few days ago? :)

Off to catch up a bit more...

    Morning all..

Back to my old tricks again - posting on the same page with a bit of sleep inbetween :o Don't know why OH was banging and crashing about this morning but he woke me up just before he went to work. Think I scared him when I appeared upright and coherent before 7am too! :p

weezl, did you get any more sleep? :(

Today's plan is a tidy up, rearranging of "stuff" and potentially stripping the wallpaper in Rhys' room. Need to investigate the state of the walls to see if it needs replastering (everywhere else did so I won't be surprised if this does too) then get in touch with our builder for a quick, nice money for Christmas job ;) Just looking at paint charts now to find the right colour for the walls..

Rhys will be asleep for hours yet.. hot tea for meeee! :D

    Morning

I'm up too and it sounds like Kezia is thinking about it. Encouraged by the damn parrot that won't bl00dy shut up. Do you think it would be frowned upon to tape his beak together???

Been looking at slings as I'm keen to order one today so that I can hopefully use it next week. Assuming, if mum is buying it for me for xmas, that she doesn't make me wait for it. I'm currently kicking myself for waiting until she is 10 weeks old to find an alternative to the hideous Baby Bjorn. Though I did see a lady in boots yesterday with a little baby in one and they both looked perfectly comfortable so maybe it was just me.

Anyway, think I'm going to go for the Moby, I can't see any difference between that and the Kari-me but it is £8 cheaper. Just need to find where to buy it now.
