Actually while i'm on a name stealing mission, some possible names i like
    Molly
    Holly
Leila (but not sure this would suit a potentially blonde/fair kid)
    Keira :p

I do venture further than MSE when looking for name ideas, honest :rotfl:

I could just put them away but I feel that I am not tackling the issues (I am hiding my ironing too!) and at some point I will explode!

Keira is a great name :D

As is Amber, and funnily enough it was one of the names on our list to choose from. As was Kayleigh and Summer, and I really liked the name Tuesday!! OH veeto'd me on that one unfort. Carly aswell was one I liked.

So clearly I need to have 5 more children, all girls. So I can name them all!

I never had 1 name in mind if it was a boy though, OH liked Cameron but I have a cousin with that name so wasn't keen!

Awww Wizadora, what a lovely person you are, and your gran by the sounds of things. I didn't realise water infections could go to your brain? Poor guy, will he be right as rain when it's cleared up?

My DS has the name your OH liked :D I was unsure about it though cos i thought it too popular but it's been fine and i'm glad i went with it now.

Ex OH already has a daughter named Summer, so better not go there :rotfl:

I know too many girls my age called Kayleigh and some are chavvy. I have thought about the name Georgia too but not sure now...

How long do i have to register? 6 weeks?

Yeah, I went to school with about 7 Kayleighs, but I always liked the name. Were you born in 87 too? LOL.

Cameron is a nice name, but it would of been a super Scottish name if OH had his way - Cameron Ian William Mcmillan. Would of just needed to paint the babys face with war paint, and send him off to defeat the English, a'la braveheart style.

Just way too in your face for my liking. Don't even know why OH is infactuated with Scottishness (and he is wanting me to vote SNP to make Scotland seperate) because his dad is half english and his mum is Malaysian/Singaporian.

    Weirdo he is :D

    Think it's 6 weeks?

    I'll shoot out some names.

    Erin
    Emma
    Abigail
    Lauren
    Gretchen - Hey hey hey!
    Mary - Retro?
    Shinequa

Kidding on with the last 3,unless you like them :D

    Amanda
    Alana
    Rose

Im stumped. Do you have a preference letter wise? Lol

lmao at the Scottish theme. :rotfl:

I was born 85 lol, so not far off :D

You seem to have named some names i have thought about, you're a genius! Erin - never thought about it but unsure on this, don't know if i like how it rolls off the tongue (i'm such a fussy moron at times:rolleyes:) Emma is the name of ex OH's ex wife so no chance! Abigail i do like BUT this year seems to be really popular, i know a few people with young babies with that name. Lauren - mentioned that to my friend and she pulled a face at me so i don't know now :rotfl:
I like Rose/Rosie, but not sure if i like it enough... The others not keen on!

Arghhh! It's such a headache!! Although i'm kinda glad ex isn't interested cos he seems to be into hippyfied names, a la Meadow/Brooke/Stream etc :rotfl:

I have no preferences, i wish i did, it'd give me something to start with!!! I love my name and it's always been a real ice breaker and i've never thought of it as particularly quirky/weird, would like something similar for baby cos i've never had to share my name with anyone!! But i have given up on that theory cos it's too hard :o

How about something like Maya or Mia (not wanting it to rhyme) or Cara or Kiri (pronounced Kirrie)

I know what you mean - I am a Stephanie and you don't meet many of them....having said that I met one today!! But it is reasonably uncommon.

...bizarrely we also met another Benjamin today!

Edit - we didn't tell anyone the names we were thinking of because I didn't want anybody to pull a face and put me off! Nobody ever pulls a face once the baby is actually called that IYSWIM!!
I wanted to call Benjamin Spike LOL

I always think those hippyish names sound like a strippers name!

    Meadow big melons

Brooke do me up the bum.

    Right I'm a minger I know!

I only know one girl called Abigail, I guess different areas are more popular.

    Hmmmm....

Yeah I know what you mean with names rolling off the tongue, I have a crap voice and hate announcing my name!

Right, I'll name a name from ever letter of the alphabet.

    A - Amy
    B - Becca
    C - Christina
    D - Daisy
    E - Elenor
    F - Freya
    G - Grace
    H - Harriot.....bean
    I - Isabelle/a
    J - Jade
    K - Karen :p I always think K's have the widest range.
    L - Lisa
    M - Macy
    N - Nadine
    O - Olivia
    P - Poppy
    Q - Queenie? LOL
    R - Rachel
    S - Sarah
    T - Terri?
    U - Una
    V - Violet
    W - Willow
