Happy birthday henry!!
Not been on for a while as time is never on my side these days but just dropped by to say thanks to whoever it was posted about the emma jane wear testing a while back. I've been testing two bra's this week and it came just in time as my other feeding bra's are about falling to pieces - Archie is two tomorrow and yes I am still breast feeding!!! Glutton for punishment me.
Anyway thanks to you for my two new FREE bra's .
Can't believe my boy is two tomorrow the time has just flown by.
Managed to duck out of a party again this year as we are going to the safari park for the day and having a small gathering for cake after but doubt I'll get away with that next year.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -

MIL has just sent me a pic of my baby, sitting on her Uncle Tom's knee, sharing a pack of quavers! I somehow knew she would come back tonight filled up with all kinds of junk.
3 - I would go bananas!! How are you going to handle it?
Benjamin is now 19lb 13oz and HV seemed very happy with him. He had to sit in the scales though because he is too long and wriggly to lie down anymore. He sat there good as gold though...probably wondering what the funny feeling on his bum was!!

Can I ask a question to Glam/Jillie/anyone who can remember when their babies were about 7 weeks old?
- How much do your babies sleep? Holly is sleeping for 8 hours during the night which is great, but she is still sleeping a lot during the day. She went 8 hours overnight, and then after having her bottle this morning, she went 5 hours before I tried to force it on her. She is sleeping again now. I don't think she is ill as she is not listless etc and does come alive a bit in the evening, but I worry it's not normal and I am not stimulating her enough. She is smiling loads though and babbling away so not sure that anything is wrong. Sorry for rambling!
can i swap....
last night (cos i cant remember others) we fed him at 8.30 put him upstairs (was still awake) at 9.30, he ventually fell asleep. woke at 1am had some bottle (50ml) then woke again at 5 and had some more.(100ml) then fell back asleep till 715. had some more bottle (50ml). woke at 10am (let me have some brekkie first, good boy) then he;s been awake/asleep till bout 30 mins ago. has had 2 feeds, 1 at 1030 and one at 2.00
some babies sleep more than others. the email i got today from babycentre said they should be awake now roughly for 10 hrs each day. but every one is different.i worry about the stimulation thing as well but he never seems very interested in anything!
At tiny stars on Monday he liked the bells (we got the music toys out) and focuses on stuff like his cot toy but loses interest quickly. Short attention span like his Dad!
Got plenty of stuff for him for Christmas, I figure by then he'll be more interested in stuff!
He likes OH's beanbag problem is it's a bit like quicksand cos the more he wriggles the more he sinks into it!
As I type he's dozing off in my arm cos he;s just had a bottle - will give it 5, put him on a gentle bounce in chair and grab some lunch!
I know it's 3m but won't be eating til 8pm!
Kian is only now starting to show a bit of interest in things. he's been smiling today when i;ve shook a rattle in front of him. so i know its only time before he grabs one for himself. am very relieved as BIL was born with glaucoma and developed cataracts at very young age. (now registered blind) so i am watching very closely to make sure his eyesight seems ok. (not that there is anything wrong with having sight problems)
i do play 'this little pig..' with him when i change him or he's on my knee and he seems to enjoy it. i guess i'm expecting too much too soon....'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

get the code from online and you can ring the store in question. there is an option for all things baby and they will check it for you.

well the woman that was supposed to be giving us mr kitty #2 has just totally blanked me in the street, !!!!!!? i went out to put something in the bin and she was walking past but totally ignored me when i called her, biotch. i assume he isnt coming now then, great. i was looking for another kitten when she said we could have this one, i've been waiting nearly 2 bl00dy months now, i could have got one and had them settled together by now! she told her sister that she was worried that i wasnt that bothered cos i didnt go round enough, i text once a week to get told shes working and will let me know when she's free which she never is! then the last she said was that she didnt want the two to go at different times so she wouldnt let me have him til mid november, and i said i wasnt really happy with that cos he is now 12 weeks old and therefore fine to leave (would have been fine 4 weeks ago!!) and cos i go back to work mid november and i wanted them settled together before i went back and i havent heard anything since. what a biatch!
i think i'll text her later and ask her if she still actually wants to rehome the kitten, if she wants to rehome him with me and if she would rather just drop the whole thing, and if she says she does still want to rehome him i'll say i need to pick him up by the end of the week, preferably tomorrow. i refuse to be messed around over it any longer!Mummy to

KILL ME NOW.
Keira sat and screamed in the nursery for about 10minutes, wouldn't go down the stairs, because she wanted to go back to Blakeys house! I could tell his mum didn't want to say yes so I told her no and that was it, and then he started screaming and she was hanging back waiting for us to leave first, but jesus, I ended up having to lift her up and take her down the stairs screaming, which I don't like doing as it's steep and I can't see where Im goin.
All the way home, still screaming, refusing to walk, she's still at it now, she's actually making my head hot with annoyance.0 -
