  • Hi girlies
Finally managed the migration over from the pregnancy club!!
Matthew is now 12 days old and has developed the most annoying habit ever. He is constantly grunting like he wants to do a poo, he does this noise 24/7 awake or asleep and it's driving me blooming crazy. Anyone got any tips apart from earplugs???
Oh and he is also what one of my friends calls an "australian baby" sleeps all day long and soooo wakeful at night. I nurse him for nearly an hour and think he is asleep and just as I put him in the moses basket the eyes open and we start all over again!! Strangely he will self settle himself in the basket during the day I am coming to the conclusion that he does not like our bedroom lol!!
    Coming soon............
Brand new baby first showing in November!
Brand new baby boy (Matthew) born 3 weeks early weighing a diddly 5lb 4 oz!!

Aw missed this suggestion (that hubby would have loved) and made chilli instead!

I add mince, garlic, red wine, to start with. Then I add peppers (to bulk it out and nom nom) tin of chopped toms, can of kidney beans, then a tsp chilli powder (I add more normally as like It hot) tsp cumin, tsp corriander, tsp smoked paprika. Crumble in a beef oxo, splash of worcestershire sauce, and I add some jalapenos too.

Its my fave meal, esp with guacamole, sour cream torilla wraps and torilla chips, maybe some rice - This is why Im fat?!

congrats pookie, i have no advice on sleeping or noises as my little one was a rubbish sleeper when he was a newborn i'm afraid!

i cant effing stand our postie, he bangs so hard on the door that it rattles, never has the parcel ready to hand over so keeps me stood there ages and doesnt say a word! he just gave me a parcel and then stood there rummaging in his bag, so i asked if he had anything else and he snapped "yes if you wait just a moment" and rolled his eyes at me! its the first time i've heard him speak!
oh and its half two in the afternoon as well, !!!!!!! who wants post at that time!!

sm i dont know anything about the red kite buggy but i wouldnt touch anything by them with a barge pole now, as seth has a red kite high chair and the strap hook that hooks the shoulder strap to the waist strap snapped, i tried emailing them and when i didnt get a reply i rang them and the number on their website doesnt work! i had to take the other strap off as well cos it did nothing on its own, so he now only has a waist strap! also when i was putting it together one of the poppers snapped clean off, so i think their stuff is shoddy and their aftercare is dreadful!
