Perhaps I should make an effort to see my HV so they have a chance to form an opinion. I was just gonna get some vitamins and see if that helped.
you can see why I was thinking I was going rather mad!:rotfl: I can't really describe it - sad for no reason, tears for no reason, tired all the time, yet sleeping alright most of the time. Knowing how little sleep I can survive on when LO was much smaller and pre-baby that's out of character for m, but also a hangovr from my c-section and my ongoing aneamia (sp?). General horrible moods that were out of character. It all seems so important and awful at the time then 20 mins later I can't really understand what was so bad? It's not baby related in terms of LO, more I'm feeling like this because of the changes my body has gone through in having had a baby IYKWIM.
But if you are feeling down, please speak to your HV about it. The reason Dr took me so seriously today was that they have a record on file of the times I've said it in the past and they can see it is something that has built over the past few months.
I feel rather silly about it all though. I didn't think it would happen to me
:o:rolleyes:
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

:o:rolleyes:
i dont think anybody does though! I dont know any facts or stats, but in my thinking, that is probably why so many of us dont go to see about it..."i dont have it, cos it would never happen to me!" - i know im guilty of it!Carla-Farla!!

this is a bit how I feel sometimes - although we weren't as quick as you - having had a baby I realise I don't know as much abut hubby as I sometimes think I do - but that's not always a bad thing I might add!

I was diagnosed as having PND today
I hope you don't mind me mentioning it - but not really wanted to tell anyone in Real life yet, but thought you guys would understand.
MacSmiler I am so pleased that you are being listened to and starting to deal with it. Half the battle is knowing and accepting that something is wrong. It sounds like you have caught it early (I know LO is 10m+ but from what you have said things have gotten worse recently) and at least with an understanding doctor and HV you can keep talking to them and taking small steps forward.
((HUGS)) hun, we are always here for you xxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise woman
