I love traditional! My tree always just has lights and wooden ornaments on and an angel on the top. I'm not keen on tinsel and baubles so I just put decorated fir garlands round pictures and mirrors and on the bannister rail.

I like doing all the decorations one day when the boys are at school. They know they'll go up in the last week of term but they never know which day so it's a surprise when they come home from school. Even though they're bigger now, they still love that

I don't watch X-Factor but everyone has gone Joe crackers on the local radio station. One of the breakfast presenters changed her name by deed poll to Vote Joe and now they are trying to get as many other people as they can to do it

I'm a bit old for the clubs too. I've always been quite shy with ladies, but now, i'm fearful, as I have 7 others to think of, and the effects it will have on them!

We're discussing it this evening :rolleyes:.

He found out yesterday at his induction day, that on 16th Jan he will be paid for from start date 11th jan, and two weeks ahead, so we won't be as skint as we thought! We thought he'd be paid 16th Feb for 3 weeks worked.
We're thinking now, that i'll leave the same day as him, 8th January.


ETA: Becles - Joe is your local boy isn't he? He's got a lovely voice - I just think he's boring!

It's one of those things that may be suitable for one, but not for another, I suppose. I know i'll never use any on my girls though

She's only met me once, for 5 minutes She spent a few hours with the girls when they were being babysat by friend. They know her better than me :rotfl:


Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I won't be on in the morning, so after I switch off tonight, no more MOTM until after the 'event'.

Plus i'm term time - so two weeks in work, two weeks xmas hols, back for half a week - then left until 2014!
