Just to look at together really - she is starting to learn the names for things (not to say them, obviously, but if I say "try your carrots" or something she is starting to undersand what I'm on about)
I've missed gig talk... My first gig (other than little local college bands, of which there were many many many) was Reading festival in 1997 I think. I can't remember everyone I saw, but I know I saw My Life Story and Terrorvision, and Dog Eat Dog, and probably Metallica too (there is always Metallica!)
I have had lots of favourite gigs - Rico was fab (well, Cyclefly really, but Rico was supporting and it was him I went to see!) at the Manchester Roadhouse when I was living up that way - I went on my own, and didn't realise till just before I left that one of the barmen was giving me huuuge amounts of vodka - much more than I was paying for, which was a bit scary - probably a good thing I went home!
We've seen the stones twice, Alice Cooper lots, Nine Inch Nails were disapointing, but Saul Williams who was supporting them was amazing. Plus loads of folk bands tooIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

I am watching come dine with me...I absolutely love it, am I the only saddo!
CDWM is my favorite! But I do think they're all wierd now, when it first started they were normal people!
I quoted loads, and have now lost them! So from memory........
Mel: I hate the bl00dy tele. But OH has to have it on from waking til bedtime! Even if he's not watching it. I think he's scared of the silence! And getting the children to mute it during the ads, especially at this time of year, is a top tip!
Sugar Welcome back - we missed you.
XFactor I love Danyl, in a :grouphug: way! But I also think he's the best singer! I think the blonde bloke is going out this weekend-i've forgotten his name!
Sami When you're about - I saw a pack of Peppa Pig boys undercrackers in Asda today and thought of you! Also, boys Peppa Pig T-shirts and PJ's in B&M if you have one.
MFD I love that xmas pic of Benjamin! It would make a brilliant christmas card with a 'Bah Humbug' or similar wording!
ETA: Gigs. My first was in about 1990, U2 on their Zooropa tour. When they were still cool - I hate them now. My best was two years ago at Cardiff. The Subways, Razorlight, The Foo's and Oasis. Oasis were the headlining act but the Foo's blew them away. And the bloke at the seat next to us thought he was Noel Gallagher - and was an absolute !!!!!!!:beer:0 -

Good to hear that he had a nice lie-in. I forget, how old is Elijah?
He's 16 months today. He has a number of sleep challenges! But I know a number of people on this thread are suffering much more right now (albeit mostly younger babies) so I shan't moan too much0 -

Hi 3....the mute button is one of the first buttons we teach them how to use (i'm already trying to show Kai:)) If they get up and leave the room they have to turn the tv off first, even if they reckon they are 'only going to be minute'...luckily dh hates it too:)
