Yep I second that, good to hear you're feeling better BB, don't like it when you're not on form :(

Good luck this week, to anyone who's sticking with it and not taking a little break! :) Those that are on a break - ENJOY!

Spookily quiet ........ where is everyone?

Weighed in a day early as tomorrow off to spa for two nights. Mr Granny's Chritmas present to me and mine to him, all at half price so not quite as extravagant as it sounds. Planning to eat a vast amount of healthy food whilst there, so also saving on food when we come home!

    So a STS please Fred.

Snow is awful here in the North and hasnt melted at all for the last 5 days meaning roads are extremely icy and quite dangerous. However, practically everyone I know in the South has had a lot of trouble with it this evening. Average time to make what is normally a 30 minute journey has been 3 hours! Cousins stranded in London, friends abandoned their cars and sleeping in offices but worst of all was my dad telling his girlfriend he had left work early as was caught in a snow storm then his phone dying and not turning up for 4 hours! Journey normally takes 45 minutes, and whilst half of that is busy London roads, half of it is windy country lanes in which cars often find their way into ditches. The moral of the story...dont go out into a snow storm with a low battery!

Really hoping its better on Wednesday but cant see it happening, am terrified about the nearly 200 mile drive to spend christmas with my family. Think its going to definitely be a case of leave at 9am fully prepared to plod along in the slow lanes and not get there till night, with blankets, a torch and food and drink (for both me and the dog). Im not particularly scared of driving in bad weather as I trust myself to take it easy, its other drivers speeding regardless and causing accidents or getting stuck in gridlock for hours on end which worries me.

Food today has been a hog roast roll at the victorian farmers market today for lunch (up late no breakfast), popcorn at the cinema and then as I wasnt really hungry for dinner a couple of slices of fresh ham, a small chunk of cheese and some pickled onions. Not particularly healthy but I avoided making the cheese and ham into a sandwich so avoided bread - thats going to have to be enough of a victory for today!

Not sure if I will get on here to post before I leave for christmas and dont have internet there so am taking this opportunity to say hope you have a very merry christmas everyone!
