i suppose i would call a grown up date one where you actually go to a nice bar or resturant and actaully speak to each other like human beings. instead of meeting up with five other mates in a club where you cant hear a thing and your already kinda drunk the numb the initial awkwardness (this second version is very very common among us students!(well alteast among my firends anyway!))
xxshift the bulge! - 54lb lost so far :j .....alot more to go......:eek:0 -
Hi everyone,
I once again apologise for disappearing. My nan died so I was staying with family without internet access. Food has been completely appaling, no one wants to cook while all over the place so there has been plenty of takeaways and freezer specials of rubbish meat with even worse carbs with baked beans being the closest thing to veg...
Some great losses guys.0 -
{{{hugz}}} dmv, sorry for your loss. Wouldn't worry too much about the weight loss at a time like this, you will soon get back on the saddle.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

DMV Sorry to hear your news
Lois Very jealous too dark and windy to do any outdoor exercise here so Davina DVD it is probably(haven't done it yet as been all achey muscles for a couple of days) but online food shop first else I've got to brave the s.market late on Friday or on Saturday.
And I had to eat a salad at work for lunch today, been avaoiding them as I either don't like the options or they're covered in dressings or just plain unappealing. After today's experience I'm still not a fan.
And CONGRATS to everyone the chart is all STS or losses this week0 -
DMV - so sorry to hear sbout your nan. best wishes to you and all your family. xxshift the bulge! - 54lb lost so far :j .....alot more to go......:eek:0

Hopefully online food shopping won't take that long again! I think a more comprehensive list and less offers browsing is required. But on a positive side no junk food bought.0

Thanks everyone, its very appreciated. Tonights dinner was mini beef wellington (made with steak) with roasted new potatoes and lots of veg which is always a treat. Tomorrow will be sandwich for lunch and a nice padded out chilli for dinner which will get me back on track.0

Freds... I'm so sorry, there's been mad stuff going on this week and I forgot to post my result before weds.
Can you put me down for a 3lb loss from MOnday...? thanks x0 -
Hello and thank you all for the welcomes :j
As I was leaving the house this morning, OH asked what I fancied for tea (Thursday is a long 12 hour day for me with a late night 8pm finish) and I said I wouldn't mind a nice piece of pork steak with a poached egg. Anyway, I got the pork steak but with a huge plateful of pasta twirls and pasta sauce with it....I'm sure he is trying to keep me fat on purpose!
Am looking to buy a slow cooker so that I can prepare some meals the night before with lots of veg. Anyone else use one?20p Savers Challenge 2015 #64 £31.40
