We had a dusting of snow yesterday - but there were some cars driving by covered in a good 2 inches so somewhere nearby had a fair bit.
  • no snow of us yet, (in manchester) beautiful blue sky but bitterly cold.
hope it doest disrupt you all too much! (well, hopefully nothing compared ot the snow fiasco that was a few weeks ago)

ok for food, i think moving my weigh in date to wed it a good idea, w/e are always fairly dodgy here. still sticking with my aim of 1 lb a week. although i do have a curry with a work thing tomorrow night. ( i love curry and i love going with my friends but my whole perspecitive on food has changed, i now really really dont want to go out an eat food which i know will stop me from loosing. all in moderation i suppose) - so im just hopeing for a STS this week

eric - im def going to have to get some MS tips from you when i finally leave uni with my debt, just the 21K of it!
shift the bulge! - 54lb lost so far :j .....alot more to go......

im jealous alliwant!! Where in the uk do you live?

Of all places Devon (the last place you would expect snow!!!) it was a shock this morning I can tell you. It was snowing for just over an hour and most of it has stayed all day. So looks like I will be doing a "dancing on ice" tomorrow on my way to work :rotfl:

Funny but it was this time last year we had snow this way ........... maybe it will be a yearly occurance ;)
    Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Vixarooni - I would have been ecstatic if it was an older man hitting on me! Especially one with a large wallet who was close to death. But I draw the line at boys lol. (edit, should have mentioned i was joking!!)

Now advice needed please. Have a night out planned for next saturday, in a rock bar. EEK. What the hell do u wear to a rock bar? I thought ripped jeans, knee high or ankle boots with killer heels, low cut top. But it's also a kinda date too, don't feel right wearing jeans on a date, or is that me being old fashioned?

Here is my current weight loss!

    Starting 04/01/2010: 186lb
    01/02/2010: 176lb

I'm wanting to get downt to 145lbs, so its gonna be tough! I'm using the weight watchers points system (not actually a member) and have the iPhone apps etc to calculate points!

I'm starting to see some difference in my face, and some people have started to say to me already :D
    House Fund: £750.00
    Wins for 2010: 0 :(

Fred the only black jeans i own are very faded and wouldn't be nice nuff for going anywhere except work that's why i thought the designer ripped ones. Don't possess chinos either. Didn't really want to buy anything new as i'm completely skint with the car needing fixed.

    Mrsstewieo well done so far.

Morning:D have woken up singing:D there's a change:rotfl: ist feb paid, went shopping at the weekend, lovely to get some nice food in, had a look at the £10 M&S deal but they had hardly any choice left so we did not get it, maybe another time.

So, went shopping passing the end of the bread aisle there it was, love to toast big red sticker saying it had been reduced to £1 a loaf, no I thought no devil no, so walked on but the trolley went back and grabbed it, had a quick look around to see if anyone was looking, threw it in and ran off:rotfl::rotfl: came home and put it away but it kept talking to me when I went into the kitchen I could here things 'I am over here, you have tried to hide me but you know I am here, lovely toasted with butter, come on you know you want to' so I go and sit in the living room where I can't hear it calling me, the ad on the tele is kingsmill bread, tell us your confessions:rotfl: so I start rationalizing and talking to myself 'you haven't had any bread for 3 weeks, a couple of slices won't hurt':D then the devil says 'puff, like she can only have 2 slices, you make me laugh it is like pringles once you pop:rotfl::rotfl: so I have 2 slices, feel so utterly guilty(101 cals per slice for 202 cals I could have had this and that and felt fuller for longer etc) hate it then as a punishment to the bread freeze it:rotfl::rotfl: what a trauma over a bit of bread:rotfl: it just comes down to one simple thing over and over DON'T BRING IT INTO THE HOUSE IN THE FIRST PLACE:rotfl::D

The whole uni thing disgusts me, how its it a good thing to have young people start life massively in debt ...

The main thing is not to borrow money, if you cant afford it don't spend it, vastly easier to type than to do in reality ..
