£105 poorer, can't get it fixed til monday either. Not a bad day on the food side, did have some toast n bacon (without lurpak) for breakfast/lunch. Don't know what to have for dinner but a few of the girls are coming round for a few drinks tonight, common sense prevailed :D All the nice girls seen sense and would rather be at mine. I shall endeavour to stick to healthy food though.

Must be catching, Mrs Pisch's cars battery died last night, 7am hunting for a shop that sold jumper leads in the snow, only to find my cars battery's in the boot sealed under a plate with 18 security style bolts ... 4 hours to source and fit and new battery... Still should have burnt off a few extra cals
  • Welcome Eric you have come to the right place to get support and advice.

Mazza - Sorry about the exhaust but hope you have a good evening

Victory - I like crackers but I am only just starting so in a few months I expect I will agree with you.

PepPop - You made me giggle with the biggest looser comment :rotfl:

Vixstar - glad you feeling better

Mum update : she came out of hospital thursday after having an angiogram. They could find no blockage, so it seems the heart attack was caused by water collecting around heart and lungs. But she came out with her own branch of boots (other chemists available ;)). The cause of the water retention has been caused by long term use of anti inflammatory drugs which she should of stopped taking last easter
So at least I can speak to her daily and pop to see her when I can instead trying to go in visiting times :D

Can I just thank everyone again for your support through my ramblings, Need to get back on the exercise kick next week and see if I can shift some more lb's :A

It looks a bit rank on the website. Its probably deadly unflattering with my tree trunk legs but cest la vie.

Pepop: Thanks! hahaha, although some of their outfits are lush and i really wanna have the foxy cheerleader outfit ha.

Eric: Wow, 3 years living like that must take some dedication.

Mazza, im with you on the whole alcohol thing although i did have a whole bottle of wine last night and was still able to have most of my functions working!! (im normally gone after a glass of the stuff)

There was another change of plan, and guess who was home by 9pm, i've been so good lately :A Although did have a young bloke hit on me  he said he was 32 but as the mother of a 19 yr old I would guess he was no more than 24 lol. Flattering as it may be, just told him it takes a man and not a boy, and disappeared gracefully :o

Not been too bad on food front either, not brill but not bad, just having my late night coffee b4 i head off to bed :)

Can't believe I'm actually going to bed on a Saturday night, when the night is still young :A

Totally agree, most of us here are great plodders :D What else can you do :)

Still in shock at £105 for 2 parts of an exhaust for a matchbox though. I was expecting around £80 lol

hehe i cant imagine my mum going out and saying the night is still young at 1:23am! I can imagine her getting hit on though, all the men at the bowles club fancy her and flirt like crazy in their old man way.

Today im taking the dog for a walk (this is 2 walks this weekend!!) if only i hadnt had a curry, a bacon sarnie, chocolate ect ect and it might have paid off.
  • I was going to go and visit mum today but woken up to snow

Didn't see that coming!! So day home today so do some sorting of old clothes and then wii fit for me :j

Hope everyone is having a nice sunday :)
