I have a joint card with my husband - he never buys anything there, I do but they sent the invite to him. Hope I can get in.0

No invite for me either, only been a cardholder for approx 18 years!
i hope it's run better than last time for those who get to go, i mean, why don't they offer these items with a minimum spend , at least then it would be loyal customers who benefitted rather than the masses who only go to get stuff to flog on fleabay for a silly profit0 -
fedupconsumer wrote: »Poorly run last time out what about disabled shoppers who cannot queue have problems with crowds to do? Invites should be made available to vulnerable shoppers first in my view. Another promotion I and my disabled mother cannot take part in and we have been shopping in the store between us for 60 years. Well done Marks And Sparks .
The invites will be sent out automatically in batches from &more head office, how are they to know who is disabled and who is not?0 -

Simple solution, you are given a invite but you have to take with you evidence your disabled so people dont abuse the system. I was given no help last time this event was run despite being clearly unable to queue had to leave because I was being threatened by other shoppers, staff did nothing just let them give me a tirade of abuse. Marks and sparks are well aware of the problems with these events yet do nothing to help people and flout the DDA95 in doing so. Simple solitions one slot is for disabled shoppers only, but we all know they wount do that not a prority is it.0 -
My invite is for 11th 5-7pm came with &more card & vouchers.0

It wouldn't hurt a huge retailer like M&S to schedule special priority slots for elderly and disabled people in situations like this.
Unfortunately the old days of M&S standing out from the other big boys and upholding their reputation of quality and standards has now gone.
I found this out the other day when I went in to buy one of those half price Xmas cakes and also picked up a few other food items whilst I was there.
When I came to pay the checkout lady tried to charge me 9p for a bag, and when I asked which bags were free she tutted and threw something the size of a sandwich bag at me which none of my items fitted in.
The crazy thing is that the "9p" bags are the ones your items are put in free of charge if you pay at a non food checkout.0 -

Are people getting their reward point vouchers through at the mo too? I want to pick up a pair of their shoes and would like the extra points - but I need them for next Sat and can barely find them anywhere as it is! Should I wait?!
I got my invite in the same mailing as the reward vouchers.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

You could maybe take a bag with you next time. I always keep some in my handbag and use those whether I'm charged for bags or not
I'm wondering if everyone's been sent invites for the store they signed up to the credit card injust a thought.
