Small queue this time around 10.00 ish, well organised and lots of goods this time I think they will be able to keep it running for quite a lot of the day.
I got the notebook, moneybox, chocolates, t-towel and tie.0 -
I managed to get down to my local M&S in Birkenhead,Wirral this morning. I get the impression this event hadn't been that well advertised as there was a small orderly queue outside leading into the store and after about 10 minutes I was in the store and was handed a red and white striped bag with 2 x free Satsumas in. I selecting my 5 x items @ 5p each which were a rather nice M&S Mug, a Tie (which my wife said was horrible !), a very cheap Money Box, Box of Chocolates and nicer A5 Spiral Bound Notebook. We were encouraged to donate a little something to one of local charities which I duly did. The items available to buy were obviously not of the best quality and 'heaven forbid', we wouldn't want M&s to make a loss from the millions they make a year in profits each year. I'm not wishing to Stereotype individuals but this was quite a clever bit of marketing and got people into the store who perhaps may not normally shop at M&S but instead go round the corner to the Poundshop !0

I got to cardiff cx at 8.50am thinking the queue would be huge, it wasn't but then at 9am it became apparent that some bargain hunters had been queuing since 8ish at the wrong door, they joined the back of our queue and there was plenty available. I got my 5 items and did some christmas shopping and was given a booklet with money off coupons so got 12% off my shopping too.
Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

I went to Leeds, Briggate this morning at 8.50, long queue. got into store at about 9.10. I got knickers, notebook, chocolates, mens socks and childrens puzzle.
Talking to the one of the staff I jokingly said I might go queue again and she said it was fine.
I did some shopping in the market and when I passed M&S about 10.15 there was hardly anyone there, so I went back in and got knickers, notebook, chocolates, tea-towel and moneybox.
Well chuffed.
