If you were a card holder then you received an invitation to the 1p bazaar yesterday, it opens to general public today or tomorrow I think!0

My real gripe about M & S is that the only way you get special offers is if you pay with your And More card! So they want me to take on even more debt? Why can't I use my bonus points offers with cash?
If you pay with your &more card you can then ask to pay it off straight away. Just ask the SA who will fill a slip in for you.
As for the question about bonus points, you wouldn't be able to pay with cash as the vouchers are not specific to each customer, so they wouldn't know who to give the points to without your account number. It is a credit card not a clubcard, so you have to use your card for the incentives.
To everyone else who didn't get a 12.5% voucher, they are giving out voucher booklets at the tills0 -
Hi :hello:
Sorry if this has already been asked, I've not had chance to read the whole thread yet... but do you have to be a card holder to be able to go to this??
I've not got a &more card but my Mum has so am thinking I might pinch hers to go if so.
Also, it says 5 items per person, do all the "persons" need a &more card too?
Thanks in advance,
N x
Tomorrow is for the general public and it will be first come first served. There will be queues so get there early0 -
Hi all, does anyone know if this event is on at anywhere in Cheshire Oaks, ie the Simply Food in the Coliseum or the outlet store? Martin's article says it is in some Simply foods and Outlets, but the M&S website doesn't specify.0

Im sure its a good offer, and Im glad charities will benefit, howeer this just covers up the fact that M&S is usually too expensive for people on low incomes, but for one day these people can pick up a ties, socks or chocolate!!!!how exciting!!!0

But bags generally in most places are no longer free, and tbh it doesnt hurt to take a couple of carrier bags with you. I have now aquired a lovely collection of bags for when I go to the shops.
As for having different priority for disabled people is all fine, but its hardly fair on able bodied people is it? My mum is disabled and she would be mortified if she was treated any different.
Its irritating when I am waiting on the bus with my baby in his pram and someone in a wheelchair comes to the bus stop expecting to get on the bus before me, just because he is in a wheelchair.
Well im sorry but IMO first there gets on first.
Oh this has really annoyed me! The difference being that you can take your child out the pram, a disabled person cannot however get out their wheelchair :mad::mad::mad:Married 30/08/14 :heartpuls0 -
This thought occurred to me - although I'm not a wheelchair user I have disabilities which mean I cannot stand around for too long. I've always found that asking a CSA & explaining a little often brings results - a seat or a jump up to the top.
However I *have* emailed M&S CSs about this precise issue - will post a response if/when I get one.
reply from M&S:
"Thanks for your email.
I am pleased to advise you that you will be able to take part in the Penny Bazaar event. Please inform a manager upon your arrival to the store of your situation and they will be happy to accommodate you. They will make all reasonable adjustments to ensure that you are able to take part.
If you would like to call ahead and discuss this with the store manager before the event, you can find the contact details for our store on the 'store finder' section of our website.
I do hope this helps, and that you can take part in our promotion."
so :j for M&S!0 -
