The return of the Marks and Spencer Penny Bazaar

When I went to the last one, they were just asking for a donation to put in the box. A few ladies in front of me were just putting their 5p's in. I put a £2 coin in and gave my son £1 to put in also and the old woman behind me said "you do know its only 1p an item". Some people are so rude!! Its for a good charity so I dont mind putting extra in! Only other time I give to charity is for cancer things as my dad died from it. Anything to support a good cause is great by me!!

Normally M&S invites include me and a friend in my case DH will he be able go into the bazaar area with me and if so buy, he is a joint card holder?

I too got an invite from 7 - 9pm, but then read that it's going on throughout 11th, so was worried nothing would be left by 7pm. Phoned & the holding msg said people can use their invites from 1pm. BUT then got thru to a human and when I asked, "If I get there at 7 - or even 1 - aren't all the goodies going to be gone?" he told me, "Yes, I think that's highly likely." - ?? What's the point then? Any other retailer invites their loyal cardholders to a PREVIEW where they get first pick.

Just thinking - is the Xmas Bazaar of today the same as the Penny Bazaar on 13th.........or are they 2 different promos??

M&S Fosse Park, Leicester: 1 to 9 p.m. today, 11th Nov. I have an M&S credit card, but am not a "premium member" ... I had an invitation both in the post and in an email a couple of days ago.:T

just to clarify - CS advisor told me bazaar was open to everyone from opening time today. Anyone know if that's true? Stuck @ home atm so can't go & suss it out til later

The M&S website say November 13 so that is Friday.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong? Is it only open to customers who have an M&S credit card? Or is there a separate evening for those customer?

Missed out on this last time. There's some good deals to be had at M&S more and more these days. Got some indian party nibbles for £1.99 (half price) at the weekend, all party snacks were on sale.

I also hear M&S are gonna start stocking name brands like Coca Cola and Fairy to keep up with the competition.

I had an email and checked link and you can go at any time from 1pm. Don't think I will be bothering. I think the voucher for 12.5 % off is better. They also doing 1p delivery charge on the internet. I am just going to go next week when there are fewer queues and more pleasant shopping experience.

I don't fancy parking and then walking through dark streets of town just for this.
Unfortunately, evening shopping is not something I contemplate unless there is a (well-lit) car park provided at the venue. And no, I don't have some friends to go with! :cool:
