It looks like I'll have to get early up on Friday.
Hopefully it's worth the sacrifice.0 -

well if you live with people as selfish as I do you'll be woken up by the ancient boiler banging in to action at 06:02, then complaining that they're woken up by the neighbours having new windows fitted at 09:45 - Sorry, personal anger complaint right now. So yeah, I had no problem getting up at this time unfortunately. Thinking of evil ways of getting back at them now.
... Getting back to the subject, I don't think it would be worth it for most people to get up that early to stand in a queue for ages to get those items but I've been putting off going into town anyway so this will give me the umph to go early and not spend the whole morning there (like usual) cos I have tons of very important uni work to get on with. :j0 -
is the sale on Nov 11th which is today or this friday? do we have to have an invite to visit the store for this sale? anyone got the participating stores list?0

Reading through some of these posts it looks like Premium Club members are invited from 1pm today, cardholders from 5pm today and the great unwashed on Friday0

Sounds about right except not all stores are doing the invite sale but all stores are doing Friday's Bazaar and yes I'll get up early for 1p chocolate0 -

My invite is for 3.00pm and I am not a premium club member. In fact I am invited to a store that I rarely shop at which is much smaller than my usual one.0 -
Do they put all the Penny Bazaar things in one part of the store or spread them around different departments?
Santa's asked me to go on his behalf!0 -

At the last one, it was a roped off area that you queue to get into, go round several tables with the good laids out on, pick your five items, all different rather than 5 mugs or whatever, and go out the exit bit of this area and put your money in the box/bucket.
Please remember any money collected is for charity, last one it was the store's own chosen charity, I believe for this week's sale the nominated charity is the Poppy Appeal.0 -
I received an invite for the Kew branch, but they also sent an email, with a link which said you can visit any of the branches listed between 1-9pm if you print out the email or bring the invite. Since Kew is not near me, I'm going to pop into Marble Arch instead.0

My mum works for M&S and was doing the charity buckets at the last bazaar. Thought it was awful the amount of people who would come for 1p items and wouldnt give anything else to charity. Infact, there were even people turning up refusing to pay the 1p.0
