I didn't want to go due to the problems last time with this event. But reading this it sounds interesting. Might see if I have time later0

My wife (who is a cardholder) received an invitation and went this afternoon and it wasn't as busy as she expected. She got 5 lovely items for 5p and a free satsuma as well. Good that M&S are supporting a worthwhile cause too.0

My mum works for M&S and was doing the charity buckets at the last bazaar. Thought it was awful the amount of people who would come for 1p items and wouldnt give anything else to charity.....
Maybe they should have advertised it as 'Traipse to M & S & queue up for 20 minutes, then give money to charity!'0 -

Here's a link somewhere to the stores participating on Fri.

It certainly isnt all of them as my two nearest arent on the list so I wont be going.
Hope this helps.

Just back with my 5 items which I am very pleased with.
My invite was for 7-9pm but popped in at 4.30 to see if I could collect my items then. No problem at all ,a queue of 4 people, really helpful staff and a few foodie nibbles at the end. Also got the 12.5% voucher books so I feel it was worth going in.
My items:-
Box of 16 chocolates in a little shop box,
Pair of mens socks in a bag.
A money box.
A childs jigsaw.
A key ring with a coin for the supermarket trolley.Be Lucky Everyone0 -

M&S cardholders should be receiving/have received an invitation to a preview evening for the penny bazaar.
Our invite is for an evening on 11 November. Anyone else had an invite? Are they all on the same date?
Any inside info as to whether there'll be a bazaar open to general public a day after?
I attended today. Cambridge had the bazaar between 3-5pm. If you waited until 5pm I should think there was very little left. It was organised very well. Be prepared to queue for a while.
A member of staff asked you what you wanted out of the items offered. A5 note book, chocolates, knickers, socks, cards, mugs etc. You were asked to donate some money for charity which was put in a bucket on your way out. Drinks and crisps were on offer. Well worth a visit. You would need to be a card holder to get an invite and the invitation was taken from you by staff so no sneaking in at all.
Anything left would be offered to the general public next day which I presume would be gone within 5 mins. I would presume every shop had the bazaar today as if you could not make the local store to you, you could turn up at another convenient store to you.:T:money:0 -
We went by invitation this afternoon, to Owlcotes, Leeds. It was well organised, we were given a leaflet and told to circle the 5 items we wanted. Ladies socks & knickers were not available, everything else was. it was an orderly queue and took about 15mins. We could only have one of any item, with the exception of socks because they had run out of ladies. Free satsuma too.
