Thanks Sarah, will remember that. And have NO intention to leave. I need to get out of debt.
One possibly silly question to clarify - when we PAD, do we have to pay it each day, or put it aside to be paid? I'm just picturing myself calling Barclays each day to pay 5.00 on my credit card:D. They may not be very impressed with me:rotfl:Total Debt:£17,580.83:eek:

Just £11.35 from me today.
Had a great day at school today - we had a 1940's day. We taught our classes as if they were children in the 1940's and we all dresses up. Both staff and children had a really great day. Now this is what education should be about!'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Hi Jedi :hello:
That reminds me of the programme a few years back on Channel 4 - it was really good (though slightly harsh). Sounds like a brilliant day though.
Maybe you could introduce "Jedi Day" next?!0 -

Thats possibly the best thing about PADing - it annoys the banks :rotfl:

Evening all . . .
Had to whack £130.00 on the Credit Card tonight . . . A bit angry with myself but I need a hotel for before payday so there was no other option . . . Did do it via Quidco though so I got 13 quid back . . .
Will PAD it away though as soon as I've been paid . . .
On a more positive note £3.00 has gone into my sealed 50p tin . . .DFW NERD# 1175Proud Member of Sealed Pot Challenge #5 ~ 1479 cashless_wonder~*DEBT FREE & LOVING IT*~0 -
Evening,
PaD for me is £4 today
I'm currently chipping away at my Open Uni fees - over £600 as it's a post grad course but it's very interesting so far and for some reason studying help me to keep my sanity (or what's left of it).
Hope everyone has had a good day and roll on POETS day.
As an aside, I made chilli for tea - the slow cooker recipe looks good for when I'm out at work all day - but it was just a whack it all in a pan night for me tonight. I think I'm a bit of a meat monster as I seem to have consumed 200g of mince myself eek0 -

Well, I kind of do. I run themed weeks in my class when all the work is based around a topic that is usually of my choice. I run a Harry Potter week, Star Wars week, Doctor Who week, Pirates week and Space week. The kids love it and it makes teaching much more fun.
Poor kids today were so well behaved as they thought they would get the cane!(Just in case anyone thinks we would really use the cane it was just a prop and the kids did know this!) They really threw themselves into the day and we ended the day with my class performing the jive and singing to Glenn Miller.
