Sassers - Really pleased for you, I know what it like to wash clothes in the bath because you can't afford even a second hand washing machine.

That is safely in my past now and hopefully in yours too.
  • Also...CONGRATULATIONS MinniMe! And I'm really pleased for you, too, Sassers! You're all such welcoming people here I love seeing good things happen for you :o

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. The irony is I work at the moment for a charity who campaigns against poverty and I don't think they realise that under their office roof is a person who is as poor as some of their clients! Or has been, especially this summer when I was out of work!
Have a lovely weekend everyone - please take care out there in the horrible weather now won't you?

    Congrulations Minnime!!

And am very happy for you Sassers! You're right, a washing machine is something we all take for granted - until we lose it for whatever reason. So I'm very glad you have one again! :)

  • Hi all - a relatively small PaD for me today of 91p. I've decided to change my strategy - previously I was putting my small change towards the wedding fund. For the time being I'll be putting it towards the house fund. Mortgage application went off this morning and valuation is being done on Tuesday. Scary times!
