    Morninga ll,

    Bloomin miserable weather here!!

Well still no expenses from work but have still made a PAD £4.24 towards halicrap CC.

Martins email promted me today, I think it is time to look for a new card to Balance Transfere to. I haven't had a new one at all this year, or new acc or anything so credit should be ok, just tossing up between the sainsburys one and the PO one - anyone had dealings with either of them? Also thing transfereing to a 0% would give me a little boost!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Have you look at a Virgin CC I have just got one and they are 0% on balance transfers for 16 months.

  • afternoon, PADers! cold and wet here. 20p to the sealed pot, please, Sarah!

euro, six words for you: meal plan, meal plan, meal plan! :D and if you are wanting to eat less junk, don't buy it! (i don't mean this patronisingly, just that if it's not in the cupboard, unless you can be bothered to go out and buy some of whatever it is you crave - chocs, crips etc - you'll have to do without!) ;)

before i shop, i check what i've got in already, decide what meals we can make from that, think of some more meals so i've got about 7 to choose from, work out what else we need to make those meals, and add basics to list like bread/milk/cheese etc. i know some people meal plan for the month or even longer, but i find weekly works bset for us as i am never sure when DH is going to be here (works away quite a bit) and we have different meal choices when he is away (because he is fussier than us!).
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

  • but I don't still want to have debt when I get to 30/40 years old. (runs to hide in the corner!! :o)

    :naughty::naughty::naughty: :rotfl::rotfl:

    I don't blame you though

In debt at 50 is no joke hey ho

    Thank you! :)

I know what I should be doing, but well, I can be very lazy at times. So....I have just started my first diary on here to motivate me and help keep me on track.

Need to find some ideas/recipes for lunches and dinners. Nothing too fancy, but preferably something that can be frozen etc. I plan to do an online shop tonight for a Saturday delivery :) But....I WILL be organised for it, I WILL!

I'm pretty sure it's cheaper to get it delivered during the week and later in the day? Just a thought...

It is cheaper, but then I don't have time in the evenings to prepare so many meals. Maybe one or two but certainly not all. I tried this last month and ended up having to throw some stuff away as it went off before the weekend. The difference is about €1-2.

Also, they like to have a couple days notice before delivery so the next available one is Saturday.

And, most importantly, I'm far less likely to use the 'i'm too tired' excuse on a Saturday. lol (I know myself and my excuses pretty well! haha):rotfl::rotfl:
